I find it funny that a lot of people think that Isaac's chances are reduced because of his missing trophy!
Why would they add in less relevant characters as trophies and forget about Isaac, especially when he was a major AT in Brawl.

Yeah. I did see the stuff about the patch. Still, whatever. So Ryu and Roy got confirmed. Whee.

To be fair, I wasn't totally opposed to Roy, just thought there were people more deserving of the honor of being on the roster. But I was opposed to Ryu.

Ryu is one of those characters you probably don't want to see before other Nintendo characters get in first, but it happened so roll with it, I'm not that happy about it either.
I'm just curious how Nintendo is going to handle his introduction in the game, what reasons will they give, basically...

Perhaps that's why. The question of "Why is this non-Nintendo character getting in before other maybe not as famous (but still damn popular) Nintendo characters?" is kinda large in my opinion. Hell, Splatoon may very well save the Wii U from being just a laughingstock this generation and we're getting this dude instead of the Inkling. (Although I think it's safe to say that the Inkling will end up in Smash one day. If not 4, then 5).

I'll think on it more when I'm not buried in a salt mine.

At the rate the team is pumping out characters, if Isaac isn't in the future somewhere I won't have faith in Sakurai and Nintendo anymore!
I imagine they will make a Direct that same month after the results are in, or maybe they will wait so they can reveal a prototype of the winner during it (although they can start working on the top 3 before the annoucement is made so they have prototypes ready, for example...)

The biggest thing I'm getting out of the Ryu addition is:

• New "universe" icon.
• New "universe" stage.
• New "universe" character.
• New "universe" trophies.

Isaac would fall directly into this category. Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, and a lot of the top prospects (K Rool, Krystal, etc) all come from existing universes.

Just my two cents.

This song is so Godlike, it made me learn how to make BRSTM's for Brawl for me to mkae to put it in my copy of Project M) aren't in Smash 4=???

(I get jacked up when listening to Clamato Fever. I've done tests in PM, and my L-cancel rate is way higher when that song plays vs. when it doesn't on the stage I have it on [Wario Ware: PM Version])

I definitely think we need to have more realistic expectations in terms of trophies though.

We'll probably get three Isaac related trophies (Classic, All-Star, Final Smash) and then a trophy of whatever Assist Trophy they add (So probably Felix)

I can't see any more new characters revealed at E3, but we probably still have 2 more Pre-ballot "Mario"s.
1 is probably Wolf.
The other will be someone who was planned but cut for time constraints. Maybe a newcomer. Like Isaac. Or Dixie. Or K. Rool. Or a Rhythm Heaven rep. Or maybe , , or

Either way I doubt we'll hear about them at E3, Nintendo want us to look at Roy and Ryu (and Lucas) for now. At best they'll give us a notification that Wolf is on the way (like Mewtwo's announcement), then give us game-play of him, and whoever else, in a later direct. They would release around October, by which point Sakurai would have moved onto the ballot characters.

Wow, 2 more Mario characters, that's a lot, but as long as one of them is Daisy then I'm ok with having another Mario character, we need all 3 of the Mario princesses.

I'm expecting Wolf to show up, its not a matter of if, but when.

I don't think we're getting any Rhythm Heaven content unless its a stage.

I think Roy opens the possibility of seeing Young Link return.

I think we're done with Pokémon, hopefully, I don't think I want anymore Pokémon its good the way it is, Sceptile would of been nice instead of Ivysaur, but I don't know... As for Squirtle well I think Greninja kind of replaced him.

Who knows maybe we will hear about 1 more character reveal at E3, I can't help, but hope so due to having some sort of element of surprise, its E3... Oh and Wolf is not a surprise, announce a character nobody is expecting to see revealed at E3.

Make those regular sword attacks in his move set, he'll probably have a few sword attacks, and what differs his sword is its the Sol Blade in which does have some unique moves for a sword.

However, a "Look at what we're working on" (like with Mewtwo) would be really neat. They should have known that Roy and Ryu were leaked out to us quite some time ago.
