Golden Sun 4 being in development would be a major boon to the series prospects of Smash dlc. It couldn't be happening at a better time.

If we do get confirmation of Golden Sun 4 in 2015 we'll be in a far stronger position going forward.

I agree that Camelot should give Golden Sun 4 some form of closure, even if there's still some other aspect that remains unresolved. The cliffhangers just make waiting for the next installment more unpleasant.

I remembered mentioning this a couple months ago about that image on their website. Considering they haven't forgotten about Golden Sun, this is still good news. Frankly, for Golden Sun 4, I wanna explore more remnants of ancient Weyard, as the return of Alchemy has revealed a lot of things that were long abandoned. Visiting Anemos (the moon) is not gonna happen at all, but I wanna make the most out of the other continents, as Hesperia was awful barren for a continent.

Golden Sun is out everywhere, and Lost Age (GS2) is out everywhere but North America. Dark Dawn was on DS, but it could potentially be added as VC... There is VC in Japan for one DS game. At the very least, though, Dark Dawn can definitely be added as a downloadable game on 3DS. I know that Advance Wars: Days of Ruin was never released in Japan until it was made available for download.

Golden sun Is game boy Advance VC.
Earthbound Super Nintendo and Wario Land 2... I don't remember... Is a handheld console.

Anyway you should give Golden Sun a try.

And you should try too. Start very slow but it you DIG deeper, the better the prize!

Im think am the only one when I heard Music from Golden Sun Remind me of power tennis (I play this first before playing Golden Sun) After all is the same composer. AND the same one who work in Kid Icarus Uprising and New Smash Bros.

Honestly, if anything, I think it'd probably be "Isaac Battle / Venus Lighthouse" as the actual track itself, with the Felix Battle / Final Boss music as the second track, and Weyard in Smash Run.

I agree on the Agatio and Karst Battle Theme. It's so powerful, you feel like a fierce battle is happening, and that Agatio and Karst are a real threat to your team. One of my favorite themes from Golden Sun (but, of course, I like a lot of them, so...).

All these system updates are killing me though. It seems like every time I think I can play, NOPE system update!

I got the Wii U just a day ago (explaining my low activity) and I am loving it so far.

Can't wait to support Golden Sun by buying the 2 games on VC even tghoughI have played them a lot of times before.

I still have to buy Smash though, got it sorta bare bones with Super Mario 3D World and a free copy of Ninja Gaiden 3. Also Bayonetta (the demo was awesome), Wonderful 101 as well as MK8.

For music, I love everything Golden Sun so wouldn't mind DD tunes. All of them are amazing. But Venus Lighthouse and the Saturos Theme is a must!

Plus it is great news that Camelot is acknowledging GS for its 20th anniversary. Maybe all those "4" references will come true on April 4th.

SAKURAI!!! This could be a better choice than the overworld theme that it currently in the game!!! So Dark Dawn have GREAT MUSIC FOR REAL!

That being said, I would love to see a GS stage that actually incorporates all of the Elemental Lighthouses. And waaaaay back in 2011-12, I was proposing that they could include Dijinns as collectable items that could be used for Summons. Sad that never became an actual thing.

Somewhere on the screen it could have the little bar decreasing and when it's empty, the Ship lands next to one of the Vighthouses' top where the battle keeps going. Either it continues in a loop where the Ship fly off again to another Lighthouse, or the Lighthouse is selected randomly for each battle. With of course events for each Lighthouse.

I guess that it would be way too complex to actually be like this in the game, but a man can dream...
