Just a reminder to everyone else, I'm probably not going to be accepting movesets or recolours into the OP anymore. Feel free to still post them if you have them, we'll still read and look at them all.

I also added another argument to the argument section. This one is a little late, as it's already been sorted, but I thought I might as well add it in case there are a few stragglers who still cling to it.
If any of you can think of any other arguments used regularly against Isaac, feel free to let me know and I'll try to address them in the OP!

I 100%ed the first Golden Sun. I loved it. That's why I support Isaac.

My biggest recommendation is to transfer your Djinn from GS1 to GS2. The items aren't that big of a deal because by the time that that matters the weapons and armor you obtain from the available shops will outclass the ones you transfer. Other than that you should be set. As far as classes go I personally like mixing and matching the Djinn but I guess you'll figure out what combinations work for you.

Those Tornado Lizards give quite good exp as well. I used them a lot to level grind in GS1.

Also tips for The Lost Age: sometimes it's not really as clear as to where you need to go next as it was in GS1. Use Mind Read a lot if you want to have a clue where to go. Also, try and get all the Djinni, and definitely try to transfer over your file from GS1 to TLA.

It's still Isaac and it doesn't really make a difference to me. Perhaps it isn't his most well-known appearance, but complaining about his appearance would be like complaining that Classic Sonic didn't get in over modern Sonic in Brawl.

I dunno if I'd like it very much. A design of character which is mostly just there for the beginning of the game, and then disappears for no reason. Yeah, it's an epic beard and all, but I don't think it truly plays around on Isaac's legacy and how he used to look back in his glory days. Also if Ike did get his POR-appearance, then why can't Isaac keep his more iconic teenager appearance?

SSBF: I think it's because hey, Classic was from those days that were old and classic, but Modern's still pretty prominent. Teenager Isaac though is more well-known and brought up than Adult Isaac, and it's from more memorable and well-received installments of GS.

Just ack- that reaction. We all know that a lot of fans would prefer the teenager Isaac though. Epic Beard Isaac does sound like a funny concept, and I'd main him immediately if that design is used.

Ike was added to the game before Radiant Dawn was in development.

But yeah. I just insist on using Teenager Isaac because that's more iconic and related to the games that made GS good (and where he was the protagonist) and if anything, not a an unsignificant design for later games due his disappearance in DD.

Well, he was only the protagonist in the first one, technically speaking.
I also wouldn't count out the possibility of future games having Isaac as a major character as an adult. Remember that his whereabouts are unknown. Like how Lost Ages was in the perspective of Felix, a new game could be in the perspective of adult Isaac and serve as an explanation of his disappearance.

Isaac became sort of a second main character when he became playable in The Lost Age to though. But since it was Felix's task to light the Lighthouses innitially, Isaac decided to just follow up.

I'm playing through Golden Sun: The Lost Age rght now. I've learned two things.

1. I REALLY love Golden Sun.

Well there's one close to Champa. Which is that pirate village where Brigss lives. And this is also where you forge those Trident pieces. You'll also meet Alex, Agatio and Karst there, and they'lll do mean **** on you. And you will feel like a little ***** in front of them. Anyways, you'll need Sand as a Psynergy ability for this, found at Gaia Rock, most eastern island in the middle of Weyard, The other piece is southward on the 'south pole' of Weyard. You'll have to walk a long way though, and you'll also find a Jupiter Djinni. You'll also need the Psynergy ability Piers learns at Aqua Rock for this. Which is found on that one tropical island.

I'd go with Garet. Given that he's the first character that Isaac team up with in the game.

Garet, Felix and Matthew (also Tyrel I think) could inherrit Isaac's Move ability as an AT.

But anyone would be awesome.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Jenna either, doing Dragon Flume or something.

My guess for Assist Trophy would be Garet or maybe a Djinn. Only reason I'd discount Felix is because then there'd be 2 Earth Adepts
