I dunno, I currently like the new design. Blue and white's really easy on the eyes.
Random, but I think it'd be hilarious if when you post future news posts on Brawl+ updates, you mock Sakurai's Dojo updates complete with screenshots and silly commentary.

Huh? No more media section? Well I guess it would get kinda full if you added tons of matches...maybe include a really good one in the about section? Perhaps add a vBrawl video next to it for a comparison?


Also loving the new way the changelist is presented. Great work.

A Dojo styled updates will look good. And for the color theme, simply let us customize it.
Some suggestions:
The log in/recent comments takes up a lot of unnecessary place. The log in part can be moved to under the search box, or to the top-left corner. The Recent Comments can just be removed, or make it optional
And you may want to add reasons of each changes we made.

When you enter a wrong password, the dialog will appear:
ERROR: Incorrect password. <a href="http://brawlplus.net/wordpress/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword" title="Password Lost and Found">Lost your password</a>?
Links cannot be put in a dialog or what?

I actually did that once when I released one of my textures...not a bad idea. People said it wasn't a bad impersonation either. o_o

-Up and B softlanding endlag 2000% faster

Yeah that doesn't look like an error at all...

It was 20x faster instead of 2000% in the changelist.
For the changelist, I think a table will look better. Like this:

I did as much as I could in unifying it, but I also lost formatting in the transition from BBEdit to web page. It also takes FOREVER to edit that stuff to read the same. I'm also moving in 2 days, so I don't have much time to edit it any time soon, but the other WBR have editorial powers on the site.

SOft land is tied to the lag when he exits the upB in the air. So to make the no freefall upB useful, sped that up.

I also just fixed the font size for you (im fast )

Hmm is the register function working yet? I registered like 6 hours ago, but still haven't received the mail. When I typed in the same thing and register again it said the name is registered. If I change the name, it said the email address is registered

A lot of people seemingly registered no problem. PM me and I'll edit your password for you.

It could also be the Spam/Junk filter of your email...at least that's what happened in my gmail when I registered

Thanks shanus, I'm able to log in now. I have trouble finding where to change the preferences though, you can only go to that page by clicking your user name near where you submit comments. I took me quite a while to find that out

I just changed it where you can also access it by clicking on your name in the Logged in as XXX part.

Edit: the login button also looks a bit weird.

I was talking about this in the IRC, and I think that a common reason why people refuse to try Brawl+ is because of the stigma that we're trying to make "Melee 2.0" (aside from the "eww, hacking is so bad" factor)
I think this should be made more clear in the About page somehow. Personally, I think putting "BRAWL+ IS NOT MELEE 2.0" in huge bold font somewhere on it, with some reasons why would suffice. ;o
