BtL2 Planning

Hope you all had a good Halloween; mine had nothing to do with the holiday but was still amazing.




So yeah, less than two weeks left for BtL2; I figured I'd get to looking around for travel stuff. Here's what I got.

It looks like BoltBus (www.boltbus.com) is our best option to head to Philly. Their buses are much more comfortable than those half-arsed Chinatown buses, and they're offering a similar rate. Sweetness.


The BtL2 venue opens at 10am, and doubles is slated to start at 11am. The venue closes at around 10pm.

For BoltBus (as of this posting), tickets go like this:

7:30am bus from NY (34th and 8th Ave) to Philly (30th between Market & Chestnut) = 12 ducks
then...
10pm bus from Philly to NY (same addresses as above) = 10 ducks

Two-hour ride. The Philly bus stop is a 15-minute walk from the venue, so we won't need to take public trans out there. So we should be more than on time to register, warm up etc.

So total travel cost should be 22 rupees. I say "should" because...

If we want to get this rate, we gotta reserve those tickets ASAP

So we gotta reserve them, guys... fast. Buy the tickets at www.boltbus.com. If you guys have the moolah but don't have a debit/credit card, let me know. I'll reserve for you and you can just give me the money next fest or something.

so if i give you 30 bucks this friday it'll cover traveling+venue if you pay for me online guru? suhweet. this is looking affordable. i want to save 20 for this tourney and try to make back my traveling expenses. I **** with rogue. i completely forgot about her for a minute.. haha. I used to CP rogue in tournament against strider/doom teams. i wrecked soooo much face once i got speed up haha. and t. bonne support.

You need a stick to play really good Marvel. You need the speed.

Not gonna lie, online in Marvel is probably the most well done of any game officially. But Marvel in itself at high levels cannot allow for even the smallest of error. That and the playerbase online is LOLOLOLOL RAGE.

Rogue is def. a solid character everywhere, but no bull**** so not a top contender sadly.

She'd be way better if she could do crazy air combos into her supers. her air combos are mediocre and she only has a ground super. Her assists are pretty bad. characters who camp just take her in the booty hole.

she's an amazing CP character, but her place on the tier list is totally justified.
