So how are you guys getting to Btl2?

I need information on the bus and stuff...

Also I actually can't get a job until Nov 6.

so I'm doing the laundry chores and everything i can to make a buck. My parents seem really supportive on it.


Also about sky world the hit lag on the bottom platforms changes the duration of moves...

Ness can spike people underneath the stage through the stage. I'm sure other people can... Either way this stage might be a counter pick but it's really difficult for recovery...

I think the stage essentially is made for characters who get gimped easily. If I was a link player and I was facing an MK. I'd go to this stage for sure.

1. It auto snaps (Which is ********)
2. The bottom platform.
3. great places on the stage for playing defensively.

Next smashfest, I'll bring the codeset with the new Skyworld, have peeps at least try it out a bit.

Btw... Next Smashfest! When is it?

@ Ref: We'll likely be taking a bus from Manhattan to Philly, then take the local subway to the venue. As for the specific bus we're taking, we're not sure yet; none of the sites have price quotes for Nov 14 yet (as it's still pretty far away from now), but as soon as they are available, I'll let you guys know.

A couple posts ago I gave an approximate cost, which I think is fairly accurate unless I missed some other major expense.

I just hate the stage. But If they can fix it to where it's some what like battlefield, then I guess it would be fine. But Idk which I'd rather ban, this or Wifi Room.

ugh..

BTW, with the resurrection of all these FAIL stages, I think we should re-introduce 2 stage Bans. You can either ban 2 counterpicks, or 1 Neutral and 1 Counterpick.

If the coders really do end up making once-banned stages viable again, then yeah, I'd see no problem in having 2 bans (for any stage, neutral or counterpick) each person.

Yes: didn't you try or see the new Skyworld at Blackanese's tournament just this weekend? I could've sworn you had played on that stage, against either me or Ref...

But yeah, in any case, I'll get vids up when I get some good matches on that stage, which would be at the next fest. (looks at Glick and Shin ;) )

Nah dude I only played on neutrals lol. I usually only CP neutrals anyway...Skyworld...what is this...lmao

So instead of starting at 4, it starts at 1. and it ends at 10:30

omg GHC that looks horrible...I'd most likely just camp the sides. There's less space on the bottom than Wario Ware, and the platforms are begging me to camp them.

Sorry guys, I can't make it to the smashfest...I'm going to Drexel for Brawl/Brawl+ tournies. Wish me luck :3

By your logic, you can camp every stage.

And really. it's true. It's just a matter of how strong camping is. And with moving platforms that are more than 1 illusion ways apart and with decent space between them. I seriously doubt you can camp well and/or effectively on the stage.

Sonskies your stages are being hated on hard body cake sauce.

Skyworld "sounds" viable with those changes and the mushroom kingdom thing who knows, I guess I have to play it.

I don't illusion like an idiot as an escape option lol. I just force the approach and then hit them away :)

Just saying, based on that video of MK, it'd be very easy to camp. Unless you can't drop down through those platforms. That'd make it slightly harder.

It's better to imagine how to break a stage before it becomes legal so that it doesn't get abused in tourney.

Hey. anybody that is coming. I changed the time from 1 to 2.

I have **** to do earlier so if you were planning on coming at exactly 1, just come an hour later.

the end time didn't change.

Hackfest 4.0, in MD, on the 7th. I'd be super-ecstatic (I luvvvv MD/VA) but there's also MANA, which falls on the exact same day:

Which should we attend? I know we more or less kept our eye on MANA in CT, but that tournament kinda put B+ on the sidelines (it's not going to have its own day; rather, it'll be held right after vbrawl, and doubles may not happen)...

Man I have a mini doneskies hangover..this is bull****. At least I got off of work though ^_~. Thanks for the birthday thingies but it's not that big of a deal na'mean we just have to make sure we can do something for Halloween. I was talking to Skip about finding a costume party somewhere. That could be pretty fun, what you guys thinik?


Anyway, about the tournament..ehhhhhhhhhhhh a tournament dedicated to Brawl+ sounds better than a side event so i'm looking at hackfest. Most of the people at Mana will be there for vBrawl so it will be pretty fail.

I would suggest Hackfest, However i cannot go to it or mana.

Unless i somehow stumble on to money. All my money is going for Btl2 as of now.

I have some bad news for tomorrow. After a few hours of playing I might have to go into my room to get work done. I'll just leave you down there to keep playing but it's either this or I cancel the whole thing.

It's an AP Bio assignment so I can't push it to the side.
I spent like 7 hours trying to get it done today but I'm still only really 3/4th the way done.

Even if I don't get to play as much as usual I'm still happy to host the crews fest.

K i'm going to bed. I'll see you guys tomorrow at 2!
