Guys, I have a question. Is it possible to use your birth certificate as a passport? Because my dad says it takes 4 months to get one, and I don't have that time.

I don't think so. You should be able to get an enhanced drivers license OR enhanced leaner's permit in about 2-3 weeks, which allows travel to Canada and back.

I just feel bad about 4 ppl having to sleep on the floor per night so i wanna at least do something about it lol... plus the zellers nearby my house is going out of business so everything is super cheap :D one of my friends said if there's 6 of you then you should all have a tournament to decide who gets the couches each night
@YoshQ I dont think you can use that as a passport but it may be possible to pay extra to rush your passport, here in canada we can have them within 24 hours but it's expensive as hell to do that, but it's like 10 bux to make sure you get it in 20 business days... not sure how the US does it though

Assuming he has a drivers license or learner's permit, it's only like $30.00 to get it enhanced.

Go to your secretary of state and ask for it. Someone said its like $30 extra but I don't know for sure yet

SoS is a government building in america where we get/renew our drivers licenses and what not, its also where we would go to upgrade them to the enhanced versions that let us travel to canada without a passport

There should be some printouts on the DMV site of your state which give you a list of what documents you need and how long it will take
Edit: didn't forgot you aren't in America, still shouldn't be that different

I live in America, DRDN was being snarky. I googled around and apparently my state doesn't have EDLs.

Edit: I'd also like to say that Impulse will be my last tournament for a while. I wanna get saving up for a car and school. I'll still be active on the boards, and I'll come to tournaments when I can. But until I get a better job, and some money in the bank, I'll be a wifi warrior. Come at me. <3
