<Sorry. Many issues are coming up on my end, and it took a while to add all of this information. I would do it in pieces, but was trying to allow the game to accommodate more liberties.>
A.R.: Oh, alright... but only this once!...
Baby Ashley: 《Status:
Dirty ; H.P.: 25/25 ; E.P. : 23/25; W.P.: 5》
A.R.: (Flings the diaper away) Some will do it more readily than others... You just discovered the 'Speed' attribute. So here is how it works. Distances are measured in terms of how high you, Baby Ashley, can jump without items, skills, etc. For example, if you need to reach a mailbox 3J high, you need to reach a height above the ground as if you had triple-jumped to the highest possible height for a triple jump. This sort of measurement applies to ground movement too. Right now, your running speed is 2J/s, while your waddle speed is half of that. (☆)
Now about allies, For now, you may only have one, but you only need one. Here is your ally information:
A.R.
Bio: There once was an old hero...
Type: Everything
H.P.:Infinite
E.P.: 30/30 (A.R.: Don't look at me like that! I'm powerful, but old.)
W.P.: Do you need to ask?
Skill: Most Powerful Ally You Will Ever Have
A.R.: Okay, so maybe that is not the most helpful, but you will figure it out as you go along. Basically, "Type" indicates the general abilities and limitations of an ally, and "Skill" indicates a special contribution that a particular character makes. Since I'm an ally only for this battle, you don't really need to know mine. As long as they have the E.P., H.P., and W.P., your ally will help you in battle. Don't worry, the A.I. is so good, you can interact with them like you do me!... Let's head out...
Chapter: 'Baby Steps'; World 1: Forest of Gloom; Stage 1
A.R.:...Who goes there! (A Push-Over attacks A.R., hitting him with a skillet)... Ouch! FEEL MY WRATH! (Makes Push-over vanish, consuming 6 E.P.)... Hey, here's my T.V. guide! We got lucky. It won't always be easy... I'm going to watch T.V. at Goodness when this is over! There are five enemies left on the stage. Charge!... (They run forth... and then a cracking noise is heard in A.R.'s back. He slows down while Baby Ashley runs off the screen) Ohhho!... This... reminds me... Allies sometimes have little quirks that affect the game. You may find out about them at some awkward times, so try to predict what may happen based on what you know about your ally. In my case, I have no 'Bio information,' so it's my fault you had no hints... kind of... but then I'm an example, it won't do anything here... Ouch! Okay, I'm a bit old for this. I'm gonna go back to Goodness. You finish off the last five enemies. If you can't do it, return to the village by coming out the way you came... Are those axes?... Well, on second thought, you can clear this level by... Here's a list. I've struck any goals you aren't ready for...
[
Stage Objectives/Highlights : (Primary) Destroy Hot Air Buffoon and Push-Over. (Question) Why are these stages being patrolled? (Reward) Destroy all enemies without taking damage. (Secondary) N/A, ]
A.R. turns around and walks away. He turns his head.
A.R.: I know what you're thinking-- 'Typical R.P.G.'-- but your enemies will be smart. This is a sophisticated game, you know. You have moves, but cleverness and an attention to detail are key. Trust me, thinking up shrewd ways of achieving a goal can lead to big rewards after clearing a stage. Rita will tell you more. I have a back to soothe (shakes television booklet) and a T.V. to watch... (He leaves)
A Hot Air Buffoon (Lev: 1; H.P. :2; Common Moves: Drop Rock) flies overhead 6 jumps (J) high, patrolling the area, followed by a Push-over (Lev 1. H.P.: 4; Moves: Rebound, Spring Jump, Pushing)
