The people who were working on Brawl should've at least made an effort to try and fix all the lag on the network's, yet then again, I think it all depends upon your connection. It's like Sakurai just focused alot on the SSE and with the rest he was just like blah for the most part. I don't know what was going on in his mind to take this long on a game and have this be the outcome.

And I can't stand his lack of a competitive approach to video games (no leaderboards anyone?). I mean cmon, people like to play games for fun sure, but their also should be at least a little competition to it as well, it's, in a sense, what we play games for. I respect his approach to making gamers feel equal, but it's like with the U.S. and Russia after WWII, there's gonna be a little bit of a power struggle down the road. Ever run into those matches where people don't really play against one another but just joke around and taunt and do random stuff? Those moments are fun, but I think this would explain how people online have become somewhat lackadaisical to what Sakurai might have intended for a "casual match" let alone actually playing against people.

For this, I think he also should have given users the choice to play ranked matches or casual matches. Although he did explain that it would "deflate a gamer's confidence if they lost" but so what? You win some, you lose some! No one person is gonna be the best at what they do, and there's always gonna be someone better than you out there, right?

Sorry if I got a little carried away there. Oh, and I totally agree with earlier posts about Pikachu's Down+B cuz I hate it! Worst spam in the history of man! >0

With anyone wifi is meh. Spamming, double teaming, camping, all of your favorite hatreds in one convenient package! Talent exists on there, but it's hard to get a true gauge of ability when it comes down to he who can best spam aether, thunder, PKT2, stone transformation, players who can double team in hopes of taking foes out, and the one player who always chooses temple and runs away in hopes that there will be no KOs and the game moves into sudden death. I'm not the best brawler ever, but I get tired of people who rely on relativly cheep tactics to win.
