Ike is one of the characters I look forward to playing against, in part because of the challenge and in part because I can run circles around him.

I say "challenge" because the jerk only needs to land 3 hits to waste me. :/

He has much lag in most of his moves to call him cheap.
It evens out with his Overpowered smash attacks but thats why hes still middle tier.

Set the Ike boards back six months? IKE IS CHEAP THREADS SET THE IKE BOARDS BACK 8 MONTHS. What ever controversial or angry thread that is made is going to attract "those kinds of people". Lol, just look at the demographics of the Ike boards. That was kind of a lame point... (besides this is nothing compared to the kind of crap you'd get here back in May or June, especially considering the nature of the thread.)

And what happens on this thread other than the title and my first post is completely insignificant. I just wanted the "Ike is cheap" threads to stop. I made this thread when there were like three of them consecutively on the page. Hopefully the fact that it got stickied will be enough to silence noobs before they waste more of everyone's time.

i wouldn't say he's cheap, obviously what can make a character cheap is how the player uses the character. so when you are playing an ike that runs to one side of the level and won't let go of his b charge (left right b special) until you come in range (only when repeated frequently) then he is cheap. when you opponent won't stop neutral a comboing you then ike is cheap. when the opponent does 5 fsmashes in a row trying to get lucky then ike is cheap. when ike comes at you with 10 fairs as if he is marth then ike is cheap lol (had to throw that in, it's actually a good tactic lol) ofcourse the only one of these that should ever be frequently (or successful at all) is the neutral a combo. ofcourse there are times when you just won't see it coming no matter how slow and will get batted with an fsmash.

That's an incredibly wrong way to go about it. The best way to judge someone is by what they post and they way they post it. If I were to assume everybody with an account older than mine was better than me, I'd be kowtowing to everybody here. And that's just not the case.

Noobs are determined by how they act, not by how long they've had an account on SWF, and you posted an incredibly stupid post, leading me to insult you. Now if you don't want this kind of thing to happen again, it's best to examine exactly what you're posting, and how people will react to it.
