Oiye we need the game to start to get back on topic, but...
I hear "X would be the most unique character in Brawl" a whole lot from you people about a whole lot of different characters. And honestly, Olimar and Poke Trainer would be pretty stinking similiar. So no, no he wouldn't be the most unique.
And attacking with different colored Pikmin would not be all that much fun, honestly. But you are entitled to your opinion, even if its wrong.

Captain olimar has a very high chance of being a playable character in brawl, Miyamoto made the game aswell and He would also have an influence on who get's into brawl. Also how you managed to find simalarities between Pokemon trainer and Olimar is beyond me...XCwarriot said:

You may not be able to fully comprehend this but captain olimar is owned by Nintendo, is quite popular and recieved more votes than Lucas in Sakurais poll. Captain Olimar is extremly likly to be playable in brawl and you'd be a fool not to realize it.
