And I'm disappointed.

This film isn't nearly as terrible as everyone said it was.
At first, I was loudly reluctant to see this movie in class, but since it was either this or work, I at least expected to get a good laugh at how horrible this movie was, expecting a super-cheesy-bishie-****fest. But all I got was a boring, standard chick-flick. Not good whatsoever, but not even close to the level of bull!&%t I thought was going assault all 5 of my senses.

So in short, don't fall into the epyh(reverse-hype). Twilight isn't worth watching for any reason.

Its abusive themes are more than enough to keep me from respecting it. I've no problem just reading it for a laugh/guilty pleasure, that's how people are meant to be, but there are far too many people who, lulled by the tones of the book, take it to heart and actually get the impression that this is how love is meant to be like.

Case in point, the dreaded Twimom's forum. If you don't know what that's like, good for you.

I hate Twilight more due to it's fans than it's plot, I just choose not to be annoying and constantly whine about it.

Gotta say it's a **** shame the movie wasn't terribad.

I liked the books but that's cause I work in a library. Not like crazy fan girl liked the books but they were fluff and every bnow and then fluff isn't so bad. The movie was... Eh. The only thing that I respect about the movie was the fact that it was one of the best book to movie adaptations as far as chronological order and dialog. But by no means was the movie any good.

one thing I hate about the book is the freaking spacing. Its bigger and as thick "The deathly Hallows" but when you look inside the spacing and the size of the fonts just makes my head spin. Its the same spacing and font size as a pre-teen book. I thought this was a book for Teenagers. Here's some rage from the Twilight thread in the Media Metropolis

Finally, I can vent about this piece of **** book. First chapter - I made it through the first 10 pages, forcefully. It was written SO horribly, so wordy, and so painfully.

I showed my friend, who is admittedly not a reader, the first page, then summarized it in 2 sentences. Basically, Stephanie Meyer is just like J.K. Rowling in terms of horrible writing via adjectives, but Rowling could do some great characterization, whereas Meyer cannot.

The Twilight books are stupid. Every charater in it is a sue. Bella somehow manages to get impregnated by a vampire (despite the fact that he has no blood or anything of the sort in his body, so he couldn't even get a boner) and has the ultima-sue child. Is telepathic, can talk when shes like four days old, is strong, is fast, is beautiful, had no baby fat, and will be banging a werewolf be the time she's seven.

Oh, and Stephanie Meyer can't write to save her life.
