Ehm, you're a Metroid fan and you CAN'T think a moveset for Ridley?
And, the Ridley from the manga would be PERFECT. He's not much taller than Samus, and he's just freaking awesome.

I hate Zero Suit Samus, although I'm not going to explain why. However, if Ridley didn't make it, it's not Zamus' fault. Dedede, Wario and Diddy weren't in Melee, but that's not Pichu's, Dr. Mario's or Roy's fault. Hating X character because other character didn't make it is plain stupid.

Don't worry, Ridley fans. If there's SSB4, Ridley will be in. Ridley will appear in future Metroid games, and, if we're lucky, he'll be as important and big as he's in the manga. Then nobody will have an argument against him.

I don't think you have any proof/evidence/facts on that statement either. Her appeal could also be because she is still Samus, nevertheless. People could like her because she's Samus in a new style, or simply because it's another Metroid representative to use. I'm not denying the fact at all that there are a bunch of horny children out there that like Zero Suit Samus just because of her breasts, but I'm pretty sure that the majority of her fans aren't that.

She doesn't take up space because she doesn't even have a tile to selcet her with from the character selection screen. You have to transform into her using your Final smash or by holding R plus up down up down on the d-pad.

i guess i would have to agree with you; if Sakurai gave me a choice between Zamus and Ridley (not Dark Samus) way before the game's release, i would've easily said Ridley, but what's done is done and it turns out that Zamus is actually a great character and you don't give her nearly enough credit. next time, try not to whine and complain so much and come off intelligently.

PS. to the guy who said there would be problems scaling and creating moves for Ridley... 1 word:

the guy is like, what, 2 inches? he's not 2 inches now -- he's about as big as pikachu --
and in the game i think he only had an a button attack and the pikmin did almost everything, but that didn't seem to be a problem for any of the devs there, so what would possibly make you think that it's not possible now?
