Here's the setup:
Red Team: Fox (me) & Fox (CPU Lv9)
Blue Team: Peach (Turtle) & Ganon (Kyle)

Two minutes into the match on FD, my computer partner is dead (and he served me so well too) it's just me and the other two, all of us at two stocks a piece. The tension in the room is high, as I've been whipping everyone all day with a multitude of characters; now it's me and two other humans... I advance and get the Ganon near the edge and execute a beautiful shine spike. As the Ganon waits to respawn, I advance on Peach who thinks a simple turnip would keep me at bay. Fox wave dashes back, runs forward and... UPSMASH. Dead.

The Ganon quickly drops from his spawn platform, we do a little dancing exchanging few hits between, then delivers a f-air into my face. Everything is again tied, this time at one stock. Here goes. As the Peach stands back and continues to pull and throw turnips (which were well timed and almost as distracting as a Falco laser camping), the Ganon and I do some more exchanging. He then get's me between the two. Peach d-smashes, Ganon A's, another d-smash, Ganon goes to deliver a f-air, but I jump out just in time to fall back in between with an l-canceled d-air to shine to split them. I wave shine the Ganon off the edge. He's set up for another shine spike.

At this point, the Ganon is crying for his partner to come and rid of me. Up-b, shine, up-b, shine. Then the Ganon up-b's above me because of an early shine. I jump up off the ledge. What was suppose to be a shine and fall back right to re-grab the edge turned into a side-b so my death. If I hadn't done it, I'd have won.

At this point I was so raged at my mistake I slammed the ground with my hands and out of pure furry full out punched the ground. 15 minutes pass and my hand starts to hurt and shake. Thankfully one of the guys I was fighting is going to major in health and was able to conclude I just hit the nerve (which is why I was shanking).

So now, here I am, typing this while my knuckle is swollen to twice it's size, slightly pained, and very lightly purple. I still feel proud because of the match (which I wish I had the camera on <_<) but feel idiotic for punching the ground. Sucks too cause after that I was going to get some critique videos up. Now I'm playing at about 75% capacity.

Anyone else had similar occurances?

Although it was out of pure furry, I think you're taking a game way too seriously if you're getting a hurt hand out of it.

The worst I've ever done is probably thump the controller with my hand.
:ohwell:
You think playing this game is taking it too seriously.

Just saying breh...

Real talk though: Rage quitting is not legit. A broken controller=one new controller you have to buy. So, don't rage quit.

For the love of God, can you stop arguing with me?

It's like you're obsessive, and it's getting rather pathetic trying to get at me for not liking competitive play.

Homes, not arguing, stating a fact.

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Obv. :012:

I wouldn't say I rage quit, nor do I want to say I take the game seriously. Just that fact that I over came two opponents closely matched with me would've been very accomplishing...
Those things happen, I guess.

I don't rage quit i think. Whenever I lose to a cpu or a friend, I simple do one of DK's taunt, the one where he's confused, but much more angrier.

The only time I've injured my hand was because of a few human relationships issues.
Don't be so tense, be zen.

I once kicked a hole in a wall, but that wasn't due to a game. I've thrown plenty of controllers out of rage though.

If it makes you feel any better, I knew a girl who broke her arm when she punched a wall after a fight with her boyfriend. It was a concrete wall.

I did something like the girl. But ended up only breaking my hand, not my whole arm.
