Rule number one: Less "ME"

No, I don't mean that you should post less about username Frown. What I mean is to make sure that the blog you make becomes less focused on the OP. Blogs like "I quit smash" and "Why is my voice getting darker?" focus entirely on the blog post itself, and readers can't do anthing else than commenting on the OP. When the few people who are interested have posted, it dies. Make sure the readers can take part.

Another alternative is to pretend that you get bullied in school and that you have a type of cancer that people in your age can't have and that you got shot last night.

Rule number two: Make sure your blog won't be locked. Starting a Melee/Brawl discussion will give you a lot of comments, but the Teranosaurus will probably lock it as soon as he sees it.

Rule number three: Don't spend too much time on writing, since people are lazy. No matter how good you are, a lot of people will just go tl;dr and leave the thread.

Rule number 4: Be creative and be original. Stuff that people have seen before won't get a lot of attention.

Well that's your take. The tl;dr part is somewhat true, and that's why the lolmelee and ask blogs are always at the top.

Since I have always read EVERY blog (yeah, I know, lame), I can tell you a few of us can appreciate a bit of lengthy reading. I agree with the originality 100% though.

Sometimes it's hard to tell what should and shouldn't be modded. I remember I once posted an anti-porn blog because I like starting up a debate (and people were getting bored of religious stuff...). I swear it was locked within 5 minutes of me posting it... It's not like I actually posted any links to it or anything...

We don't want to be the boards that suggest that it is bad.
Then by reverse psychology, the kids end up in curiosity and search it up.

Then boom!
It is a parasite from then on.

That is how the saying goes.

Just the mere suggestion of the word, even if the blog is 100% against the word, the word is put into thought and increases curiosity over the subject.

Because its illegal to watch porn if your under 18 (which you are) and discuss it on a site with under 18 year olds (which many of us are). And your debate was not really a debate, it was just saying they have huge boobs and stuff.
