One day I was challenging my friend at brawl, I picked Meta Knight, and I didn't want to choose Meta Knight, because he's no fun, blah, blah. So he told me to pick my best character (Hey I might like Mario better, if he didn't had that stupid Fludd) So I played as him, got him in a corner, kept using that rapid attack, and he said I was cheating (It's called being cheap, and I was being cheap, I have to admit) So he complained, and he said for now on when we play brawl, we play a different move at a time (Which that's make me be worse at playing, because, if we're playing melee, I'm going to whoop his butt with mario, with his Shroyuken, I MEAN Tiger Uppercut, I mean Uppercut, and his stealing Zangief move, I mean Spin move, and all that Jazz) It's going to be less fun doing that! So some tell me how to get out of the Rapid Slash attack, in a corner.

Edit: I mean How to get out of Metal Knight's Slash attack!

It's a lock at early percents, but only if you get them on the ground. In the air, they can DI up.

And if I may ask, seeing you use Mario in Melee, what's the big difference(s) between Mario & Dr. Mario? (Yes I know this is a Melee question, whatever)

Well for what I notice, Dr. Mario seems to have a more heavy feel to mario, not like Metal form heavy, but slighty heavier than Mario, and for what I heard, his cape is longer than ordinary Mario. and What i seem to notice, he seems to have a better chance of knocking the person out of the arena easier than Mario but when he damages people there's no real difference, but I barley ever use Dr. Mario.

That makes sense. I was looking at the Melee Tier list and saw Dr. Mario, than Luigi, than Mario, and I was like. "??? What the heck?" But that explains why.

He can be a nice guy really.
He means horrible at the game.

No. It's easily escapable at any percentage.

Just because I can't stand how it was answered....

Compared to normal mario Docs;

Fsmash has a smaller hitbox but can be chained from U-throw on spacies at low %'s.
Down B is easier to gain height with.
Pills have different trajectories.
F-Air sends people flying up and away rather then down.

Aside from that, all of his moves are a little bit stronger then Mario and it is HELL of alot easier to kill with him. B-airs can semi WoP if you catch people at the edge for a gimp. Both of them CG a fair amount of the cast.

FLUDD doesnt SUCK
The reason why I said it sucks, because it replaces Mario's spin move, which ruins the experience of playing the character, (The move itself can probably be useful) say for example, one day there is this new street fighter game comming out, and you play as Ryu, and let's say, his shroyuken is replaced, a kick to the moon, it's going to ruin the playability of the character would be ruin, for the fans of the character. But that's just my opinion, there are probably Brawl fans, would like the Fludd.
