Houston Thread - No HOBOs and no WHOBOs. What do we do now??????????????????????????????????????????

What side event should i include in my tournaments?

Are there any big tournaments anywhere happening on thanksgiving break? i didnt see any in tourny listings but if you guys know any let me know

Inui wouldn't accept a MM or friendlies with his mains vs me. Instead, he insisted on choosing a low tier that wasn't his main (either to humiliate me if I lost, or have a john if I won...win win situation, it would seem). He did it at WHOBO with his Ganon. He did it at Genesis with his Ike. Each time, he lost. Whether or not you use your main doesn't exclude you from losing. You accepted the money match. Either you were confident in winning (which means you think your Ike can beat my Yoshi), or you wanted to throw away $5. Either way, all it did was make me $10 richer and piss me off that you won't take me seriously. Even Atomsk told you he didn't think you could beat me with your main and that you should take me seriously. (<3 Atomsk, come to Dallas!)

Either way, this entire weekend, I have seen the kind of person you are. I don't care how good you are at Brawl. I don't care how many placings you may get. More than anything, I care about respect, friendship, sportsmanship, and this community. In no way do you ever show any of that. I love this community and people in it so much, and you spat in their face. All you care about is rubbing elbows with the amazingly skilled people in this game, with the exception of a few others. You practically gave UTD Zac a lap dance while we were at DugFinn's, while slapping the rest of us with your dissent. You told Fogo straight to his face that he didn't deserve his placing, that there were people better than him that deserved to be higher, which you said yourself as one of them. You repeatedly told us to leave DugFinn's house on Saturday and Sunday so you could have more one on one time with her (wtf). You then went on to explain how you would **** almost all of us with any of your characters with a $1000000 MM. You played Dphat and me in low tier doubles and didn't shake our hands afterwards. If it wasn't for Xyro, being the gentleman he is, apologizing for your unsportsmanlike conduct, I would've approached you earlier.

Your complete disregard for the community outside of the elites and a few others has made me not like you. Your complete disregard for common courtesy and honor has made me not like you. Your complete disregard of respect for your fellow smashers, the ones that you said were "paying for your plane ticket" since you would be ****** them, has made me loathe seeing or hearing from you.

Just so you know, everyone knows you're good at Brawl. Everyone knows you're good at doubles. However, no one wants to accept that an utter failure at human decency could be honored in this amazing community. No one wants to accept that a worthless person could possibly be a role model for future smashers. This is the reason why you will never get the "honor" you deserve.

Keep your stupid assumptions to yourself. I used those characters because they are my favorite characters. There was no other reason. If you are so eager to lose money to me, then I will fight you with my MK and crush you next time I see you.

No, you did not see who I am at all. You saw the very competitive side of me, which is arrogant. You saw nothing else. You are not my friend and you have yet to earn my respect, so of course you won't be seeing such things.

I always say that I am an elitist. I care more about the skilled people, and I even find them to be better people in many cases. Too bad.

UTD Zac is better than all of you and was my partner. Fogo indeed placed higher than a good number of players better than him, including me. Does reality bother you?

I am elitist. I lack social grace. I don't give respect until it is fully earned.

It is amusing that you think you can judge my character based on a weekend of playing a video game.

How unfortunate for you that must look at this "worthless person" and acknowledge that he is incredible at Brawl, a brilliant leader in his community, and a top host.

It will be even more unfortunate for you when you realize that everything you said is nonsense based on playing me in a video game for a weekend. You know nothing of my character outside of my arrogant and competitive sides because you do not interract with me outside of this game.

Please go tell my friend Ivan that I am a worthless person, so he can tell you that in 2007 I paid for his plane ticket so he could see his fiance and that I paid his internet bill the past two months in a row. Please go tell my sister Janelle, who lives in TX, that I am a bad person, so she can tell you about how I saved her from eviction numerous times. Please go tell every single person that I've housed for free at my place that I'm a terrible person, so they can tell you that I feed them, clean up after them, and overall show them great hospitality. Please go tell my actual good friends that I'm a horrible person, so they can tell you about my infinite honesty, great generousity, and unwavering loyalty, all qualities in me you do not get to see because you only see me at tournaments.

I love how so many of you think you are in a place to judge my character. You are not. I do not try to judge people based on tournaments because I am not a fool.
