I'm not really informed, but MK isn't considered the best in teams (Wario/GW are best, right), so they're allowing him. I think.

They are spending a considerably larger amount of money, time, and energy to make it to these tournaments, in essence they are Texas's guests.


I wouldn't want to travel across the nation and instead of being treated well to be ignored.

I don't have a problem with giving OoS players better treatment, I'm all for it. I just think it's stupid to change rules to fit them BECAUSE they're OoS or they're "stars".

Yeah you might go to 1 HOBO where the rules were changed to favor someone else, but to them there won't be more HOBO's... and to you... the next one is right around the corner.

That's the only reason I'm not completely against favorable treatment to OOS people.

welll, MK loves to shut peoples options down by his arial game. But in doubles, if MK is just fooling around in the air, his partner will just get jumped, and its a wrap. MK can still gimp in doubles, but you can also save your opponent from those gimps. GnW can just catch you with an unexpected smash attack when you are focused on someone else at like 80%, and your dead. MK cant do this. Wario is a ***** to kill, and can fart on you much easier in doubles. I'm sure someone else will come explain this muchhh better though.

Even if MK ever gets officially banned in singles by SBR, I doubt he'll be banned in doubles. He can be handled in doubles. Logically, you'd think two Metas would be the best team, but this is obviously not true.

Makes sense. However, Wario is still kind of iffy, there are so many more stocks in doubles and the fact that Wario can fart easier, doesn't say much considering his fart is half as useful with the amount of stuff going on, and you can't "fart camp".

That didnt make much sense broly =/ if you leave wario alone to jump the other partner, prepare to get a fart while your not paying attention to him. You dont have to pay attention to MK.. what is he gonna sneak up on you with? down smash?

He doesnt have to fart camp, he can hold his own without the fart. But thats an easy stock he can take away when he has the chance. MK has nothing like that.

Shuttle loops? Amazing gimps?

I understand that the partner can have backup, but also Meta Knight gives some of the best doubles support.

He's EXTREMELY fast, so he can reach an ally really fast to help him, coupled with a hundred jumps and an U-air with little knockback, he can U-air his ally's to safety if they are offstage, and if they miss an up-b (marth per say) he can use the first hit of his F-tilt to give them a quick up-B back.

They are getting *****? He can run in and tornado. Need to kill? He can use his plethora of kill moves and gimps.

Not to mention one of the best 2 v 1 characters and the fact that he can get another character to set moves up with easily.

Im not saying MK is bad in teams. He may be equal to wario, I doubt it though. But for sure GnW is the best at teams. But lets agree with everything your saying about MK in teams. Its still not BAN worthy.

Really the reason why Wario is so good in doubles is that he can tank hard, he can kill easily, and his only weakness isn't present in doubles (grab release).

As for GW, like Jerm said, he can kill early. He also has an overpowered bucket with a teammate like ZSS. He never gets gimped. He's pretty good at saving his teammate I.E. if someone is hit his direction that would be a vertical kill he can uair and save the with the air puffs since it stops all vertical progress. His uair can easily keep people in the air while their teammate ***** away. His uair can also give his teammate a boost back up onto the stage if he's out of jumps and up-b. He can also stock tank with bucket braking.

I mean just look at UTD, he's living proof why GW is the best doubles character.

I still think it would be 1- MK, 2- G&W, 3- Wario.
