That's my point exactly. If we're going to play this game just play it how it is and deal with it. But if you're going to get rid of some gay stuff but leave in other stuff it's just not going to work. It would be like eating an apple with bruises on it. You're going cut the bruises out so you can eat the apple but you're not going to cut out 1 or 2 then leave a few here or there. That would just be dumb.

List of everything that would need to be banned to keep people about whining about Infinites and Meta Knight:

Things to ban:
Meta Knight

Every chain grab in the game (IC, Dedede, Pikachu, Falco, Peach, Pit, Yoshi, Sheik, Ness, Lucas, Marth, Bowser, ZSS, Olimar, Wario, PT, those are just the characters I know of that have chain grabs)

Every wall infinite in the game (Tilt locks, Grab releases, Wolf's Dthrow)

Every tilt lock in the game (since if the infinites are banned, these would become broken, being the only form of easy comboing left)

Every footstool combo/infinite in the game (Falcon's infinite on ROB, ZSS's infinite on ROB, Wolf's footstool combo on ROB, etc.)

Everything dealing with grab releases (These would thus become broken since everyone else would have had their combos and stuff taken away)

Now spaming and camping is too good, so we'd have to limit the use of a move to 5 times before you have to approach.


... in the end you would end up with a game that's way too primitive that no one would want to play. It's the same thing that I heard from a MvC2 players when I asked him why infinites aren't banned in that game. "If you ban infinites then the game ends up becoming more broken from other stuff"

Edit: Oh yeah, almost forgot, you'd also have to ban Diddy's Bananas and Peach's turnips since there's a chance she can pull a bomb or a beam sword, that would be too broken in that fragile environment.

I don't see what's wrong with the "just separate them/don't get grabbed, use a character that's hard to chain grab/pick stages with slopes or hazards or that move, so you don't get chain grabbed to death" strategy.

Ever see an Ice Climber 0-death over and over on a stage that isn't one of their best stages? It doesn't happen because of all the simple factors you put against them.



Also, if you limit their chain grabs to 5, you might as well limit all other chain grabs and combos to 5 too. Why limit one thing because it lasts longer than others, when other things are just as broken and can still 0-death?


Edit: In fact, I'd be more in favor of banning Pikachu's and ZSS's 0-death on Fox, that aren't hard to set up (well, idk about ZSS since I don't play her, so I won't say anything about her) than to ban a 0-death that's situational and is extremely hard to pull off, or even attempt until you have the right circumstances.

Edit edit: I forgot, you also didn't seem to see what was wrong with waiting for your opponent to pick a character so you could pick their worst matchup against them in round 1 in a tournament set, which should have no counterpicking involved.

I still don't think that 0-deaths that are easily avoidable should be banned though, just my oppinion.

Dude, nothing about my story was wrong at all. Like I said, "I went wolf, then you went D3", even you just said it. If you're going to get that mad and call me a liar because I just pointed out that you chose my worst matchup against me, which seemed deliberate because you waited a while after I chose my character to switch to something who you didn't use a single time in friendlies, someone I've never seen you use before, and someone I've never heard of you using before, what was I supposed to think? Besides, Esca told me that you asked him for help to fight my wolf. Learn to play by yourself, you already knew how to give yourself an 80-20 matchup...

Dude, you don't have to get mad either, I settled with a 35-65 matchup in round one anyways, you have nothing to get mad about. Just because you didn't hold your ground and stay D3, or call for a double blind pick doesn't give you the right to be such a sore loser.

Edit: Anyways, the only reason I pointed out the D3 vs. Wolf thing was because it gives you much less credibility in my eyes than someone who wouldn't have done that...

If you wanna fight D3 with luigi, find a way around it or CP. In this game, you might just have to CP some characters if your character has impossible match ups. If you dont want to CP, become that much better than your opponent.

He uses D3. He doesn't use Ice Climbers. Naturally he will be biased against Ice Climbers and for D3, since people tend to be biased towards their own characters.

Also, what honestly makes you think that you're right and other people are wrong when we tell you the level of D3's infinite gayness is way higher than IC's chain grab gayness? You lost to an AVERAGE player's 2 week old character with a 80-20 matchup in your favor, that should tell you something about your Brawl experience.
