LOL everything you were saying reminds me so some guy who's like "Back in the day, we didn't have this and this happening but now we do and it just proves life isn't getting better." Just because you personally wasn't exposed to something doesn't mean it wasn't happening already. Besides, as far as crime rate is concerned you can look up stats from official current sources and they'll say the same things as that guy. Crime rate for the most part has been consistently decreasing as a late(surprisingly in our bad economy), and has been better than in the 1990's(20 years for the most part ) The only thing that happened now is people are more aware of whats happening around them because news is everywhere and easy to access.Nice so u give me a SEVEN YEAR OLD link to some guy saying life isnt getting worse cause hey "crime is down" and hey "even poor people have houses/cars" and other blanket statements like that. Is an article like that all u need to make u believe in something? LOL
Anyways, this has literally has nothing to do with what ive seen with my OWN EYES in the few short years ive been alive.
also, Im not old and im not acting old so stop incorrectly assuming.
Same old Allan. Think about some events our greatgrandparents, grandparents, and parents went through: both World Wars, the great Depression, Vietnam, the Cold War, some periods of intense inflation, insanely high tax rates, high crime and drug rates, gas shortages, seeing war on TV for the first time, civil rights movements and riots, and if you go back more you even have stuff like the Civil War. Our parents basically saw manufacturing jobs all but disappear from the country, and it killed a few cities in the process (Memphis, Detroit). Holy crap talk about feeling like the world could end. That has literally nothing to do with what I said.
But thanks though.

you are talking about world events. that is an entirely different argument. its a FACT more bad stuff is happening on world wide basis than ever before. yea the media's gaze is farther than it was before and thus we see more things happen but you cant prove the bad stuff was happening at this level before the gaze got farther. you can only prove what you see here and now with the gaze you have here and now and here and now **** is getting worse from a world point of view.Same old Allan. Jesus christ dude i dont have to recollect every day from birth to now to determine if **** is getting worse in my area.Older people always think back when times were "safer," but they still had locks on their doors for a reason. Life expectancy was much lower, medical care much worse, etc. The only thing that changed from that link till now was the Great Recession happened.
Houston area neighborhoods decline with age generally because Houston is so land abundant older areas simply become lower-income friendly in most cases. Old Missouri City is much more poor than say, Sienna, and it wasn't always that way. But overall Houston has a really low crime rate for how large it is. Your neighborhood may be worse than it was 20 years ago, but there are plenty of places in Houston you can move to that are quite nice.
Saying, "well I've experienced this so it's true" is silly because it's impossible for you to ever experience life before your birth. So the world is only worse than your perception of the past.
play? like as in games?I grow weary of seeing you post the word "fact" with no citations. So what do you even play these days, Allan?
Yea ive quit smash but ill def play if im at syncs or something. I go to tournaments here and there but i only stay for a few hours and then leave.Yeah, as in games. I mean I assume you don't play Brawl anymore.
Are you being a REAL gamer and playing KoF on console or are you a NERD and playing it on PC?RE6 sucks. Beware. I've been trying to slowly learn KoF XIII but I just started. Pretty fun stuff. Beyond that my backlog is so huge I doubt I'll ever get a Wiiu unless smash comes out good. So... not getting a WiiU
if it aint console, its inferior. The console version is updated. The PC version is the older arcade release, so it is missing some characters and the rebalance. I'm playing on PS3 with a fightstick. If the game was the same on the PC it wouldn't matter which platform I was playing it on.
whaaaa?Leon has jell-o arms in the intro of RE6
dude what? show me this plz.Capcom tried to simulate wind whipping on his jacket, but it doesn't work at all. Instead he just has arms that wobble/pulsate during the intro.
oh that part where they tried to make the wind blow his long sleeve shirt? yea thats def jello. kinda ******** that my hero is made of jelloIt is pretty hard to see unless he stands still, try about 4:35-4:40 or so in this video
i actually played RE4 on ios. its one of the worst games ever created. ios is by far the weakest for form of gaming. its full of shallow and forgetable experiences meant for CAUSAL new gen NERDsPlay a real game.. RE on iOS or SFXT on iOS.
This be normal. How bored are you, my man?
