Nice so u give me a SEVEN YEAR OLD link to some guy saying life isnt getting worse cause hey "crime is down" and hey "even poor people have houses/cars" and other blanket statements like that. Is an article like that all u need to make u believe in something? LOL

Anyways, this has literally has nothing to do with what ive seen with my OWN EYES in the few short years ive been alive.

also, Im not old and im not acting old so stop incorrectly assuming.
LOL everything you were saying reminds me so some guy who's like "Back in the day, we didn't have this and this happening but now we do and it just proves life isn't getting better." Just because you personally wasn't exposed to something doesn't mean it wasn't happening already. Besides, as far as crime rate is concerned you can look up stats from official current sources and they'll say the same things as that guy. Crime rate for the most part has been consistently decreasing as a late(surprisingly in our bad economy), and has been better than in the 1990's(20 years for the most part ) The only thing that happened now is people are more aware of whats happening around them because news is everywhere and easy to access.

That has literally nothing to do with what I said.

But thanks though.

Same old Allan. Think about some events our greatgrandparents, grandparents, and parents went through: both World Wars, the great Depression, Vietnam, the Cold War, some periods of intense inflation, insanely high tax rates, high crime and drug rates, gas shortages, seeing war on TV for the first time, civil rights movements and riots, and if you go back more you even have stuff like the Civil War. Our parents basically saw manufacturing jobs all but disappear from the country, and it killed a few cities in the process (Memphis, Detroit). Holy crap talk about feeling like the world could end.

Older people always think back when times were "safer," but they still had locks on their doors for a reason. Life expectancy was much lower, medical care much worse, etc. The only thing that changed from that link till now was the Great Recession happened.

Houston area neighborhoods decline with age generally because Houston is so land abundant older areas simply become lower-income friendly in most cases. Old Missouri City is much more poor than say, Sienna, and it wasn't always that way. But overall Houston has a really low crime rate for how large it is. Your neighborhood may be worse than it was 20 years ago, but there are plenty of places in Houston you can move to that are quite nice.

Saying, "well I've experienced this so it's true" is silly because it's impossible for you to ever experience life before your birth. So the world is only worse than your perception of the past.

you are talking about world events. that is an entirely different argument. its a FACT more bad stuff is happening on world wide basis than ever before. yea the media's gaze is farther than it was before and thus we see more things happen but you cant prove the bad stuff was happening at this level before the gaze got farther. you can only prove what you see here and now with the gaze you have here and now and here and now **** is getting worse from a world point of view.

Jesus christ dude i dont have to recollect every day from birth to now to determine if **** is getting worse in my area.

If at 11 years old i see XYZ happen and as time goes on(im now 24) and XYZ is 10x as much as when i was 11.........it got worse. Im not speaking for HOUSTON or USA or North America or the WORLD. The same can be said for all the people ive talked to about this. They are speaking from where they live/what they have seen.

This is as simple as i can explain it. if u still dont get it then i fear you are just ****ing stupid.

Yeah, as in games. I mean I assume you don't play Brawl anymore.
Yea ive quit smash but ill def play if im at syncs or something. I go to tournaments here and there but i only stay for a few hours and then leave.

Recently, ive been playing pokemon black 2 (it got worse from black 1), Resident Evil Revelations and XenoBlade. Other than that ive been saving money for WiiU. Im also trying to find a way to borrow a ps3 for RE6. As a whole, my gaming has gone down a crap load cause i gotta get school done and the only way i can do that is not have games to play. Its taking forever with only being able to do night classes though but thats what i get for putting melee in front of school for 3 years.

RE6 sucks. Beware. I've been trying to slowly learn KoF XIII but I just started. Pretty fun stuff. Beyond that my backlog is so huge I doubt I'll ever get a Wiiu unless smash comes out good. So... not getting a WiiU

The console version is updated. The PC version is the older arcade release, so it is missing some characters and the rebalance. I'm playing on PS3 with a fightstick. If the game was the same on the PC it wouldn't matter which platform I was playing it on.

Leon has jell-o arms in the intro of RE6.

Capcom tried to simulate wind whipping on his jacket, but it doesn't work at all. Instead he just has arms that wobble/pulsate during the intro.

Terri Graham, Mother, Breastfeeds Dog To 'Feel Complete

Terri Graham, a mother of two, couldn't breastfeed her children. But, she's now fulfilling her maternal desire in an unorthodox way -- by breastfeeding her 9-year-old daughter's dog, a pug named Spider.

In an interview published in the Oct. 20 U.K. edition of Closer magazine, Graham, 44, said that she knows some people might consider her a "freak," but insisted that her breastfeeding nourishes the dog, and makes her feel like a better mom.

"Having Spider suckle on my boob means I finally feel complete and a better mother," Graham told Closer.

Graham, who is from California, claimed that the dog developed a taste for breast milk in 2010 after licking the nipple of a bottle she had pumped for her then-newborn son. She says she has breastfed the dog for about 2 years.

A photo of the article about Graham was posted to a Reddit forum devoted to strange and outrageous news, where it quickly received more than 2,000 "upvotes" and rose to the site's front page.

Although the comments were riddled with jokes, one user pointed out that a British woman had reportedly breastfed her dog in 2010.

A psychologist interviewed for the magazine piece suggested that Graham seek therapy, but stranger incidents involving canines have occurred in the British Isles.

In July 2011, a man was charged in Ireland for violating that country's bestiality laws after a woman died from an allergic reaction following sex with his German shepherd.

Heard joke once:

Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says "Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says "But Doctor... I am Pagliacci."

I didn't like the movie at all. The blue man literally could have ended the movie by decimating the final boss at any time but he didn't. So nearly everybody on the team dies.

On top of that, the best character dies in the first 5 min of the movie.

Def a bad movie IMO.
