I'm not sure if that's because you here the songs of different places so often cause it's an MMO, or because I just really like it. Wish I still played it (... maybe)...
when I hear the songs now a days they bring a lot of nostalgia for me, so that's another reason it's my favorite. the music also went well with the zones and environment. the whole world of FFXI was just amazing and it looked really good for those times. it still holds it's own on a good PC, but I played on PS2. so that combined with a really good soundtrack = nostalgiastorm when I hear them. good times.

this will probably get **** on, but the ORIGINAL WoW had an awesome soundtrack. still one of my favorite soundtracks of any game. I think with MMO's for me at least, the reason I love the music so much is because of the nostalgia they bring when I hear them again.

some of my favorites from vanilla WoW.

but **** MMO's, those two were my only MMO's but they were a giant timesink. no more MMO's for me!

Well, I just found out one of my cats (my favorite one) has a huge aggressive tumor and will probably be put asleep to end his suffering...

to be honest I really dont know what my favorite soundtrack is, but when im playing mvc2 I always play music from my "sega" folder which contains sonic generations/sonic cd music or JSRF or KoF.

CY, Im guessing you started in Sandy? I started bastok. I love the jungle soundtracks the most
nah I actually started off in Bastok as well. my very first character was San d'Oria but that was only for a few hours before I switched to a different character. Bastok ftw.

I still have memories of camping Leaping Lizzy out in Gustaberg for hours. there would always be 4-6 people there with me so it was hard to get the jump on him. :( I never got the boots.
