I would have the skills to do it I *think,* the issue really is having the spare parts. Some company will likely do it anyways, and if not someone will since it really isn't all that hard. His extra parts was him not splicing a controller cord, but instead creating something to plug into. Hence the larger part.

I would agree with you but the websites practicing the blackout aren't quite the ones that really need to do it. If Google did it (somehow convinced their shareholders), Facebook, and Twitter, it would seriously upset the net for a day.
