Imagine any game that has amazing music. RPG, Action, Adventure, whatever.

Now imagine playing it with no music, only sound effects.

You can't tell me there won't be an impact.

Not really, just observant.

Those who got the Humble Bundle #4, they added Humble Bundle #3 to it. If you already downloaded, go back to the download page to get it.

I'm not saying there wouldn't be an impact. There certainly would. I just don't find it on an equal level of importance as some of the other stuff I mentioned. I think there's a set of important factors (music being one of them), but some are more important than others.

If I also imagined a game (a non-music genre of course) where music is the best part of the game, I would have much less reason to play it if other marks aren't decent or to my taste. I think it's because music doesn't serve quite as much of a practical purpose as other things in comparison (I want active interaction to pull me in first and foremost) but is still an excellent enhancement to an experience that has already gotten your attention.

Anyway, I'm not picky when it comes to music so it may vary from person to person.

Oh, by no means is music THE most important. There are plenty of games with amazing music but have garbage gameplay.

I was more scared of the soundtrack, silence, and creepy noises in the game than anything else.
That's ALWAYS what makes it scary.

Music is soo cool.
You would love the Silent Hill games then, they're all about atmosphere. Well, atleast 1-3 are, can't say for sure with 4+5.

Fear the Lucas main?
*facepalm*

F.E.A.R is one of my favorite shooting games and thats saying something cause I dont really like shooters, I never finished campaign cause I was always playing online but it wasn't scary to me. I dont like the other F.E.A.R games.

edit: lmfao at thinking RE4 has scary parts, DMC1 is more "scary" than that game will ever be.

Thats the point, RE4 is a almost a childs game. Im just making that comparison since DMC was suppose to be RE4, but it is still far more darker/creepy/scary than RE4

Maharbakbarparkacar is going.

Ojih, timing to dodge blue shells is stricter. When the shell points downwards, you need to boost.

no. i know what that is. i guess the only horror u get from it is the fact that you'll spend a good amount of time wasted on it to reach the halfway point.
