ff13 versus and ff14 was announced WAAAAAAAAY back when regular ff13 was announced(they were announced at the same time). sony does stupid stuff like that, nintendont.

this kirby game was never announced previously and came out of no where. there is no way a new kirby game is gonna be announced when euro has not even got the current gen kirby game. plus, nintendo is not gonna release a heavy hitter if there is one already there this late in the gen.

Dang I went to Dallas :(
1: Kirby Super Star
2: The remake
3: Kirby 64
4: The others.

How did you not like 64 though? When I was 10 it was actually somewhat of a challenge to get the secret ending. Plus how can you not like having 40-something copy abilities?

Alot of the abilities were totally useless.........

Kirbys Avalanche(snes)
Kirbys Star Stacker(gb)
Kirbys dream land 2(gb)
Kirbys dream land 3(snes)

i think all of those are better than kirby 64.

It's just a sign that the next Gen console won't be out for quite some time, especially since the 3DS supports the Wii. Regardless, this is probably something Kirby fans wanted.

Sync, you shut your mouth. I will Bowser Bomb you TO HELL next time. :bowser:

This would pretty much be the first time a gen lasts longer than 5-6 year if thats true. You know as well as i do that the 3ds will connect with the next gen system....not just the wii.

Considering they are just releasing the 3DS this year, it'll probably be at least 2-3 years before they consider a new console and handheld to go with it. I don't think the 3DS will be able to support anything past the Wii, unless they later update it via firmware. Or they release an "upgraded" 3DS similar to the DS->DSi upgrade.

I vaguely remember reading something about how Microsoft is treating the Kinect as the "next-gen console" so it'll be a while until they make another console...and Playstaion has the NGP, though they're too busy fixing the huge problem with modded PS3s.

P4, you're so lucky. I hate those lightning spaces...

I'm gonna be first in line to get that kirby game.
Better not have a 4 hour game time BS on it.

Xyro, you list some really good games.
Maybe I should change my list..

It's Mario Kart 64 next time, a-holes.

No gross shortcuts though. Rainbow Road is the only acceptable one because of the amount of risk.

Or Double Dash.

Good luck to everyone going to Phase.

Dude, if you want to allow the gross shortcuts, I'm fine, but it would make the game ********...

I like DD only because of the broken special items.

Also, a typing game for the DS has been announced. The keyboard connects to the game card via Bluetooth and comes packaged with the game. The franchise? Pokemon. Yes, a Pokemon typing game for the DS.

Remember, the GBA could connect with the GCN and it was released before the GCN. DS was created before the wii and it can connect with the wii. Gameboy games could connect with 64 and it was released before the 64. Dont count the 3ds connecting with the wii2 out. its super possible.

So looking at nintendo's history it seems that a "next gen" handheld is a precursor to the "next gen" console....with the exception of the n64. Below is a list of how long it was between handhelds and systems, its kinda cool if you are into that thing. Maybe im seeing it the wrong way. Take a look below and tell me what you think.

Only considering "next gen" leaps and excluding failures/minor changes=Virtualboy
From NES to SNES= roughly 6-7 years
From SNES to 64= roughly 5-6 years
From 64 to GCN= roughly 5-6 years
From GCN to Wii= roughly 4-5 years
From Wii to Wii2= it should be roughly 2011 or 2012

Only considering "next gen" leaps and excluding failures/minor changes=GB light/GBA sp/GBA micro/ds lite/dsi/dsi xl
From GB to GB Pocket=roughly 6-7 years
From GB Pocket to GB Color= roughly 2 years
From GB Color to GBA= roughly 3 years
From GBA to DS=roughly 3-4 years
From DS to 3DS==roughly 6-7 years

Since the 3ds is a major leap in technology i think its safe to assume that its 8th gen(just like psp2) and i also think its safe to assume the wii2 will follow within 1-1.5 years. Just my opinion based on Nintendo's history.

I vaguely remember reading something about how Microsoft is treating the Kinect as the "next-gen console" so it'll be a while until they make another console...and Playstaion has the NGP, though they're too busy fixing the huge problem with modded PS3s.
Yea they said kinect is "next gen" but i seriously doubt that. A peripheral is not going to make a console "next gen" just like the "move" isnt a next gen console. Its just Sony and M$oft way trying to get their hands in the casual money pot. I seriously believe a ps4/xb720/wii2(obviously not real names) will be shown or brought up at this years E3. I cant imagine them breaking the patern(5-6 year per gen), allowing a HANDHELD or fixing hacker issues to hold the crowd over another 2-3 years.

I think Nintendo is expecting the Wii to last for at least two-three more years. There's still a couple of frachises that they haven't done yet that should be obvious choices for the Wii(F-Zero, Star Fox, etc). Also, there's still the new Zelda and Kirby games which Nintendo will want to milk money as much as they can. I honestly don't expect a new console to be announced until at least next year. It's not to say they aren't planning something, but I doubt anything new will be given out.

As far as E3, I believe Nintendo will focus on 3DS, Sony will focus on NGP, and Xbox will still try to support Kinect. I think this will be the year of the handhelds, but I wouldn't mind being surprised with a new console announcement. :)
