Dang I went to Dallas :(
So I went to the team thing, it told me registration is closed. Then I went to the Team Viewer, and it gave me my "Team" of myself, and told me it was confirmed.

I think I'm gonna make a 2v2 team for Sync and myself though, if it will let me.

Woah woah. It's not that I'm totally Republican or totally Democrat but I do not like Rick Perry. If he runs for president like he says he wants to, then I feel sorry for the America that he'll create. Traditionally I would label myself as a Democrat but some of their fiscal policies are ******** and some of them necessary. I do agree with their social policies though. I couldn't imagine if our social policies were Republican like they are in Texas....(/shiver). I think a nice smart Republican would be nice to have in office or a not fiscally ******** Democrat. Some liberals are just dumb, they don't understand the political system.

I love your major Xyro I was going to be a History major but decided Economics+Poli Sci/Government Philosophy are more well rounded.

So you like higher taxes? More governement? Out of control spending that leads to more debt? Those are things that the Liberals(dems) do. Im not saying Rebpulicans(conservs) are the "right way" to go because both parties are made of HUMANS and we both mess up at times but what i am saying is that Repubs end up doing more right than wrong over time. Last nights results was a huging f-ing wake up call to the liberals. We didnt want obama-care, we dont want that mosque near ground zero, we dont like they fact that he and his party have spent more money(put us in more debt) in the past 18 months hes been president than ANY OTHER president to date(yes, thats a fact), we dont like our taxes rising and we dont like the fact he REFUSES to help us with border security. We also do not like the fact that we have the highest unemployment rate since jimmy carter(another dem/liberal).

Repubs took back the house and a **** load of seats in the senate. NOW you can get some real "change and hope"

EDIT: i agree on one thing. F rick perry. serously. hes one repub that i do not like at all.

Obama is nothing but a socialist. What makes him any different from any controlled president that's been under the manipulative shadows of the Rockafellers or the Rothschilds? Just another pretty face who's looking to do more harm than good....and to top it off he's black. Good lord.

I bet if they weren't paid so much money they wouldn't even bother running for office.

We need to go back to the days when being a politician wasn't a career move. When people were elected to do good for the populace not according to their popularity polls, their investments and how much money they are going to make out of the shady deals, but to look out for the working men and women of this great country.

Of course they cannot satisfy everyone, but it's their sworn duty to try and help out the majority of struggling americans. We face one of the worst recessions up to date.....

I am in favor of a natinoal sales tax instead of income tax; WHICH is originated from Europeans by the way.....

Obama care equals no care. It just seems like the worst move any president can advice to the people and an even worse move if we approve of it.

Xyro and Sync I am not a democrat or a republican, however I know crooked when i see it. I have no official political affiliation however I am willing to help people that are willing to help me.

Na you read it wrong Xyro. I'm actually pretty conservative when it comes to fiscal policy. I lean more towards Republicans when it comes to fiscal policy because a lot of the the further left Democrats spend too much on programs that aren't really needed. I just don't agree with a lot of Republican social policy (especially extremely traditional conservative like Rick Perry).

Not everything you said is true about the unemployment rate. President Bush (junior) actually set us up for this huge debt and unemployment. It was supposed to happen whether McCain or Obama were elected. His actions (no child left behind is stupid in my opinion it's a federal mandate to discourage vocational workers which we need). A lot of expenses he made as Commander-in-chief were unneccesary as well. Our unemployment rate is 7% OVER the natural rate of unemployment right now because of the extreme fluctation of the business cycles as of late. We were set up for this to happen a while back by or idiot president from before. Obama really has no options, he can attempt to fix things for the long run (from what I collect that's what he is attempting) and lose the popularity as a president or he could appease everyone now in the short run like Bush and gain poularity and have a higher chance at being reelected.

It's all politics really, no leader has ever been strong enough to deliver what is necessary. I personally like the Federal Reserve because of their control over the interest rates and the money supply and inflation is not effected by the people because they do not rely on the people for staying in their positions like presidents and other offices we vote for do.

@Batou: There were no old days where running for office was a career move. Most people who run for office are already successful businessmen who only got into office because of the money they spent campaigning and expanding their influence. Offices have NEVER paid well and their yearly salaries are almost equivalent to a yearly sallary of a secretary. They get benefits, for example, congressman get pardons from speeding tickets when congress is in session and crap like that up to and including federal funded health care but that's about it. The aim for a politician is to stay in power and be reelected. We manipulate the politician to get what we want with our power to vote, they won't stay in office unless over 50% of us is happy; really that's all they really aim for. Not saying all politicians are bad but Xyro is right, they are only humans doing what interests them.

Republicans are still lacking in the Senate, but it's close somewhere near 50-50, so now nothing is probably going to get accomplished.

Also since the House was taken back by the Republican's then the health care bill has a very high chance of being repealed

No hope P4. There's going to be gridlock. You need to break the fillibuster with 60% votes from Senate.
Nahhh son my Government teacher (who has served on the TX legislature for 18 years and is now a lobbyist and is a democrat) said there is a really good chance for the health care bill being repealed now

**** it, political talk everywhere.

Was MLG suppose to be releasing a bracket? Let's talk about that...
I read something about the bracket not being released until the day of tourney because of door registration. But there are people already guessing where the top seeded people will be place, who will fight who, etc.

It doesn't matter even if you get to see the bracket anyways...it's seeded randomly/alphabetically/whatever way the want and it won't get changed. The only thing people will be to do...is DEAL WITH IT.

Yeah ESAM said the bracket will be released day of. Eh you can attempt to figure out the seeding but remember we're either randomly seeded/alphabetically seeded or any other weird way.

Political talk is fun!

Still wanted to see who I was fighting. A little research could have helped...
Implying I had a chance in the first place. Guess I can waste time planning the trip now, though. :D

I hate you Xyro.
Ever since Ooples, I've had MMX5 on the brain.
I keep looping the boss battle theme over and over in my head.

Such a good game.

Lmao you guys hating on Rick Perry crack me up. You know the Texas Governor has like zero power right? He's literally ranked the weakest in the nation and his only true and most powerful ability is to veto bills or line item veto.

The legislature actually is the one behind it all and the Lieutenant Governor, in all seriousness, has more power than the Governor.
