So another national was announced today with 2 stock 6 min no customs in the Midwest, Combo Breaker. This and CEO are the only OoS major tournaments I would even consider attending.

I'm a little disappointed after all that I won't be attending Aftershock tomorrow, as I really wanted the chance to play those who are gonna be there like ZeRo and Dabuz. If I was really determined enough, I could of bought Megabus tickets not too long ago and travel by myself, but what's the fun in that? I can certainly be a tryhard when it comes to this game, but when it's just me playing at that point without any of my other close friends.......no, I won't do it.

But I know that there will always be a next time when it comes to these tournaments, so that's why I'm putting this out there: Would anyone be interested in going to Combo Breaker or CEO? 2 stocks isn't the best, but having no customs helps out a lot in making a better decision, in my opinion. Both events would be out of the question honestly if they did have customs.

I'll be out of the country when combo breaker is going on but am super interested in going to CEO. If I can get waifu approval, I'll probably attend.

Deep dish? I have family up there but we rarely ventured into the city on vacations. Navy pier is pretty dope though.

I feel you on this. Great news though is that Shin Blanka is a good friend of mine and he runs Final Round. He just had 1200+ people attend this major this year and I spoke with him about the TGC ruleset for smash. He is seriously considering it because he is not a fan of customs and 2 stocks at all. I told Xyro that if I can get him on board with supporting our ruleset at a major then alot of others will follow. When we do our national next year if Final Round supports the ruleset then thats 2 major/nationals events that use the TGC ruleset. I spoke with him this week and will probably talk to him next week about that and a few other things. He announced another major he is doing for the 1st time called Paradise and thats going to be in California. This will be his 1st tournament he has hosted there and this will be going down in Nov. If I can get him to use the TGC ruleset there and then Final Round thats 3 majors/nationals which is a good start. He supports the south so most def he will be on board. I told him we are different in Houston Tx because he asked me what ruleset we use and I told him TGC is the standard and will never change.

Sidenote: I saw Razer and Snorlax talking about The Flash and Arrow. That last episode of flash kinda put a damper on the hype because we didnt get to see more of the reverse flash. As far as Arrow that was tight. Any episode with the suicide squad is going to be dope. Definitely looking forward to flash and the arrow. I watch the hell out of both of them on hulu. Less commercials = Less Booty Chatter!

If you dont mind flying on a budget airline, you can get flights from Spirit departing the 21st and returning Sunday for $146. I've used them twice to go to Denver and I can say they're ok but expect to be nickle and dimed for luggage.

If you go that route, I'd recommend fitting everything into 1 carry-on back-pack (free) so you can avoid the ludicrous fees. Also, people 6 ft. and up, select the emergency exit rows, they're entirely worth the money

Yeah I thought about the return date after posting; the price jumps to $200 for a Monday return date (disclaimer: I am selecting the cheapest departure times, prices will vary to some extent depending on what time of day you are able to leave). Flight delays are always a risk, more so with spirit than the rest of the airlines but my previous experience went smoothly with no delays. It's 50/50 I suppose but, for me, those odds are pretty good for a $200 price reduction.

Haven't bought it cause nothing on it interests me much. Just bayonetta and some upcoming (hopefully good) RPGs. That and the price. Hoping for a price cut announcement at e3. I'm not big on Nintendo products.

Chill with the slander. I've put in hundreds of hours in Smash 4 and I train exclusively with my crew RotationCrew aka Ally, Anti, Zucco, Koolaid, Mr. R, and Nairo. I don't do it for Twitch money. And just because I'm anti-ban doesn't mean I have a problem. At least I'm consistent with my views and stand behind them with support.

It stirred the pot and created discussion. Dozens of top players IM'd me in private thanking me for making that video because I could say things they couldn't say because they were too eSports or w/e.

Omni did nothing for brawl but steal money with Mk. Maybe he needs a new way to be noticed/heard?

Outside of the ban diddy thing, there's actually quite a few regions that uses no customs and 3 stocks. It's actually kinda amazing how smart some regions are to be honest.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if ban diddy was lingering in the back of their head like a tumor.
