I like this.

we could definitely test this out at FG 4 although Pyrosphere is such a large stage that it would be doubles only

It's a lot of hassle just to get a handful of stages playable.

Might as well just host more 4v4 events if you're truly interested in the stages being playable. Keeps things more varied.

The only thing it did was make more stages playable in 8-player Smash, but the new stages lack hazards/interactions because the game can't handle it I guess. Hardly anything to panic over.

Just get ready for if a Lucario gets involved.

Set stocks to 4
Put timer to 9/8 minutes
Set the three extra players to Lvl 1 CPU Jiggs 300% handicap
The match officially starts when all the CPUs are dead and each player has SD'd themselves and timer reaches 8/7 minutes.

Ask yourself...is this really worth it just for a single stage? You're wasting time just to get the correct setup to even START the match.

Also, the update now allows you to go to the home screen without having to enter the game menus.

None of those stages are worth having in singles or doubles (aside from the ones already legal on liberal rulesets).

However some of those stages (Norfair, Pyrosphere, Mansion, Ps2, Lylat) are all great additions to 3v3 and 4v4. Hopefully they can continue to tweak stage to work in that mode later on.

You gotta go to events. A "son" of mine must play smash on the regular.

I've gotten frame drops in 1v1 just by hitting a shield with crash bomb+ leaf shield.
