I'm still atlittle confused on how this works, So what is reall air releasing? I know some about grab releasing but can someone give me either a thread of some answers on this.

If you're holding somebody, and their feet are off the ground, you get a guaranteed air-release.
If they're touching the ground, they get an air-release if they input a jump command to help break the grab.
If they break right after you grab-attack them, they ALWAYS ground-break.
