Hey guys. I just went to my second tourney today...and I tried to represent the pikas
Anywho. I got 5th place overall in singles, which was better than what I expected. Me and my boyfriend lost our very first doubles match, which wasn't at all what I had hoped for ;_; Buut, the team we lost against had the guy who made it to the second to last match of the tourney...so ya.
Anywho, thanks for those who gave me tips during my tryouts. I appreciate it.

alright guys i am asking for a little bit of help. there is a good marth own here that generalyl beats me. i faced him in a little little tourney recently. since it wasnt serious i tried pika and my 2 best secondaries vs him. my pika did the best. here is a link to the pika battle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XOHMFMtVjg any critiques about my performance/anything you see about him woul be appreciated. he spaces very well, punishes very effectively, and air doges everything in the air.

the link only works sometimes stealth, but as far as advice, i would say there is no hope for you. You're screwed, pika has hit the limit, reroll and pick a new game.

seriously though, you shouldvthunder less, more mindgames on the edge (like dont come off it immediately, or always the same way etc)...nice dthrow ->waited fsmash, that was nice...less usmash for kos, more nair/other ways, since it wasnt working lol (yes i know you got a nair kill but the string of missed usmashes could have proved disastrous and shold be avoided too much, imo)...more tilts out of ff fair/in general, since grabbing wasn't always an option, but good job powershielding/shielding his dancing blade to some nice stuff...pivot grab could have helped sometimes (something i'm terribad at but ussi rocks at)...overall nice match, good job, since marth is supposed to be >pika this again is just all imo, late at night, and a little stressed about school, so feel free to disregard any of it

on another note, since i did move into my new dorm yesterday, i'm setting up everything, short some cords, and having trouble setting up my computer and my wii to the school's network (doesnt work with wifi, have to be wired, and its not recognizing the network), so im taking my **** to the tech guys tomorrow, see what they can do (spent 30 min with nintendo support yesterday too, and he finally gave up lol).

I also wanna relinquish my position as a mod. school/connectability/personal reasons being why. i liked being a mod, so people would have to play me, since when my lag was real bad no one wanted to, lol, selfish maybe but it worked. then my lag got better and people wanted to play (or didn't say no when i asked, lol), so i feel that i've been slacking at that department, and want the clan to run smoothly. I know talk has been about this before or whatever, but i dont have a replacement for me, so idk how krehz wants to do that. sorry for the wall of text just how i feel. feel free to discuss

Yeah, it was lucky that I got to ski because I normally only ski on the holidays, and something came up which meant I could go.

I'll have to try some of your techniques >_< But the ONLY thing I could possibly say (you probably already know) if you could get behind the marth somehow when he is doing his b combo (the one you are usually shielding for the most time) and just grab him, that'd be good.

the begining you did good, during the 2nd life you started spamming some unneccessary smashes and you used smashes where a tilt would have been better( Ftilt is faster than Fsmash). The marth wasnt too smart. You took advantage of it too. Marths can Up B out of Dthrow and Fthrow yet he never did it. It hits the pika too. Another thing, you made your recovery to obvious during the end(Ledge hop Fair) try changing it in the middle of battle but dont ledge hop thunder on smashville, ive experienced what happens then.
ouch, the ending hurt.
