Cruisin in my Jeep.. I wish.
Ok, so I think this is the right room to post my problem.

Ok, so today I uploaded a video to Youtube of my friends and i tubing and i added a song to it. I credited the song in my video and in my video description BUT the youtube people still cut my audio cause apparently, im violating some copyright law.

So i tried to contact someone on Youtube about this but gotta love Youtube they even make trying to contact them difficult.

But I noticed that when i see videos that have a box at the bottom saying "you can download this song on Amazon or iTunes" (something similar to that) they are allowed to play the song they want on their video. So i figured that if i learned how to do that, they will allow me to play my song that i want. But the thing is i have no idea how to do that.

I was wondering if anyone here knew how to post an advertisment for the song they use on their Youtube video and could tell me how.

I would REALLY appreciate it, thanks.

You don't have the right to use that song so therefore you can't. It's that simple. The videos with those special links to iTunes and Amazon usually have the right to upload the videos. Often times, you'll see a user that has uploaded numerous songs and/or videos with these links and that's because they have the right to do so.

Find a different song.

i dont recommend u using any copyright material. Youtube is cracking down and swinging the ban hammer on so many accounts. I just recently had to remove over 200 to be safe. =/

Mr. Rogu, when you see those videos that have the advertisement, that means that youtube has that song on accepted-copyright list. The only way to keep a song on youtube is if it is very low quality, or is on their list of songs that are accepted on youtube, or if the song is your own original work. Otherwise, they will remove the song, and you will have to do audioswap with one of their songs.
