Hello everyone. I finally got around to making an account and joining the melee community. I want to say thanks to all of the people who gave me nice comments and advice on my video. I have been watching other players and learning alot of tricks with peach from my son as well as other players I see. Let me make 1 thing clear. I am not a circus act, I am an average person who loves playing games. Mainly Melee. I have decided to commit to learning all I can and getting as good as I possibly can get and who knows. One day I might beat you in a tournament :). In the mean time I'll be checking out this site. Any advice you guys can give me would be very much appreciated.

But watch out you never know what i'll do as pichu maybe i'll perfect-up-B behind you and jab you to ddddddddddddddddddddeaath. also so you don't look like a noob you have to watch out for me cause I have a bad habit of messing with people's head.

Pity your a peach player I hate being an ice climber player when playing that.

I appreciate the love even though some of you show a bit too much :embarrass I will continue to read everything in the peach section and I appreciate the link very much. They have some really helpful info that will help me improve. Right now my goal is to be able to best my sons. After that I will be coming for all of you, Then I'm gunning for the biggest and baddest. Mango would be wise to look over his shoulders constantly. ;) As for you jugfingers. You probably mean well but just so everyone knows I've been married longer then most of you have been alive:laugh:. I am not sure about Apex. I won't say I won't go but it's very iffy, Anything is possible though so you never know. If I ever do get out to a tournament don't show any mercy on me because I will be "out for blood". As a mid-age mom I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. It's the exact opposite for most of you kids so keep that in mind. :)

Also I hear Armada is on here now? If so how do I find him? I have many questions.

Omg this is amazing!! Welcome to the Melee community!!!!

Armada is the most amazing Peach player of all time. I recommend to watch all of his videos, because I've learned at least 1 thing new in every single match that I've seen him in.

It would be so crazy if the best Melee player of all time is the mother of a former Melee player. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress lol.

Yes she's my mom. I been training her as best as I can and she's on her way. I play her pretty much everyday and she's made about 3 months of progress in a month. She can Float-cancel Bair edgeguard and everything. She just needs time to grow but soon I will not play her with my spacies. She's getting waaaaaay to good at Armada-style gimps. I watched Genesis vids with her as they came out and that pretty much did it. She's probably Armada's biggest fan in the USA now. She also knows all the top players as well so she ain't a complete noob. My only question is why didn't you friend request me yet?

lol, I was just being a goof. But I stand by my statement.

any mom who plays melee competitively is an attractively awesome lady in my books.

anyways It's great to see a bridge between generations in this fine sport, remember the body and mind are extremely malleable If you are sincere in your efforts there is no reason why you can't be going toe to toe with the best of them.

I wish you the best of luck in your journeys.

lol there is more then 1 access point to smashboards in the house ya know....besides if she wanted the computer she can play me in a best of 5 set for it. However there is starting to become a greater and greater sense of akwardness. Things creep into my mind like. "What if she gets better than me" or "What if she went to a tournament and placed higher than me" lol. Either way as long as she doesn't get 4 stocked she's pretty much already a winner.
