I'm not big on stage bosses. I'm not a hugely competitive player, but I don't want to have to actively participate in getting rid of stage hazards when I could be punching the crap out of a friend.

Now that is a fantastic idea! A great way to have as many locations as possible in a single stage.

It's super hard to get here in the US, it was even going for over $100 online before Gamestop suddenly appeared with the "used" games. Good thing I got it for free.

Prices for the game just sky rocketed online again (in the US.) Game was going for 50-60 like new, now it's back to 70+. Probably because of Chuga's playthrough, actually.

Still, it's really not that bad:

50 before shipping in very good condition right now, a few like new from 60-70 on half.com. I regularly see them at Gamestops for 50 used.... if you want the game and keep an eye out, you can get it at reasonable price. (Game is worth over paying for anyway, though.)

Xenoblade's flucating price tag kind shows how much Nintendo dropped the ball when releasing the game in NA. They released so few copies because they assumed the game would not succeed and when it had success they didn't seem to continue to support it. Now the game has reached high cost rarity status for what seems to be silly reasons.

@ DraginHikari I completely agree. Even as I replay my copy of Xenoblade, I'm afraid it will get damaged or something. Hopefully Nintendo follows Platinum's lead with Bayonetta 2 and releases a copy of the first game bundled with the new one. I wouldn't even mind if it was a direct port of Xenoblade with no visual upgrades or extras.

Glad I got my $13 'used' copy of GameStop, lowered by coupons and trade-ins. But the regular price was the usual $50.

It's still $50 at Gamestop but it's sold out online. I saw 2 copies in the Gamestop at my local mall for that price about a month ago and used copies were as low as 40 on places like half.com and amazon.com at that time. Prices are back up now, not sure the exact reason though. Probable Smash hype, or maybe people want to play the original before X comes out.

I myself just saw 6 copies of Xenoblade Chronicles at my nearest shopping mall's GameStop the other day (going for $50 "used"). While they are in fact scarce in amount here in N.A, they are still around if you do some looking (or just order online if you can find an agreeable price).

Yeah, although you can't purchase them online from Gamestop about 8 stores in my area have them "for in store pick up" if there website is to be believed. Just got to keep your eyes open.

Anyway, I just thought of what kinds of Xenoblade AT's the game could have. I'm imagining Riki doing what he did in his intro scene (only saw it because it's linked in the OP), and bouncing off of the user's opponents. Not efficient, but amusing. I find the mental image of someone whacked in the face by a fluffball frankly glorious.

It's become a habit of mine to watch one of Chuggaa's Xenoblade-walkthroughs right before I go to sleep. Sure, it's been only what, two or three videos now, but still. 1) I'd say it feels pretty good. Akin to how I wanted Lucario in Brawl (granted, I also wanted Krystal and Geno, and we all know how THAT ended >__>)
2) I think I would. I mean, it'd be cool to have a stage, but more than anything else, I want Shulk in xD

1. I am confident in the leak, but I can't consider him a shoo-in. Even when Little Mac had everything going for him, I didn't consider him a shoo-in. Still, seeing the leak being real more like than not is comforting.
2. I just want Shulk in period. If we only got a Xenoblade stage and no Shulk, I would be massively disappointed.

1. Feels awesome. I can finally stop stressing over his inclusion. Also, seeing Shulk get "confirmed" before hugely popular characters like Ridley, Mewtwo, and K. Rool gives me a strange sense of schadenfreude.

2. I'd be fine with that, but I also want Xenoblade to get as much exposure as possible. Shulk being playable is a much better way of achieving this than just a stage+music.

1. Amazing. It feels justified to have guessed he would be in to the point that i bought Xenoblade and played it.
2. I would still care, but the pain would be less stinging because of the music in that game is glorious.

What do you mean?
How do we know Shulk is a shoo-in? The rumored Mechon enemies/trophies? If so, huge points in his favor, but I don't think those have been proven.

1. It feels absolutely incredible. After playing Xenoblade over a year ago (I need to play it again) I was immediately on the Shulk hype train. People told me I was grasping at straws and how other characters like K. Rool and Ridley would get in before Shulk would, but I stayed strong in my belief. Since E3 2013 the evidence has slowly been building and now, thanks to the Salromano leak, his triumphant appearance is nigh! Shulk is in! Shulk is in! I just want to shout it at the top of my lungs! All of my wishing and hoping has not been in vain! It's been one hell of a ride, but in the end it is all worth it. And that's how I feel about that.

2. All is lost if Shulk is not playable...

Sorry for sounding like a zealot, but I'm tired of being skeptical and humble. I'm just so dang excited!

The fire emblem debate in general has alot more 'filler' mostly with arguing among itself. Same thing with a large number of the larger character threads. I think it says something that we aren't trying to stuff this thread full of nonesense for the sake of making it seem larger then it is.
