Also, that leak with Doc and Shulk with 5 modes shouldn't be taken into consideration. That's far too overtly complex for it's own good to be credible. That's like saying if Shulk had the ability to use 20 or so arts in his moveset when he doesn't get to use that many at a time. Or get that many, for another matter.

The thing I keep thinking of when I hear "Five modes" is that he mistook them Monado Shield, Monado Speed, Monado Armor, Monado Enchant, and Shadow Eye. But it doesn't matter because, well, it's pretty obviously fake.

Some ideas:

• Total troll move with a future without Shulk in Smash, pans out to be a vision.
• Human Characters fighting a robot, then Shulk comes in.
• Psychic buddies with Ness or M2.
• ROBs everywhere.

For me, it's wanting to see the stage he gets. Because I really want to see Sword Valley or Bionis's Leg.

I think I'll just quote my idea from earlier.

Spoiler: Shulk trailer idea

The trailer starts out on sword valley. All of the confirmed characters thus far are overwhelmed by a large swarm of ROBs (confirming its return). They try to fight, but the ROBs continue to push them back. All hope seems lost... But wait! We see a blue blade slicing through ROBs left and right, forcing his way through the front lines where we finally see his face.

SHULK ENGAGES THE ENEMY

After some gameplay footage, we go back to the cutscene where Shulk and the other characters are about to face the ROBs' main forces. They charge forward, with the Monado glowing brighter than ever. The camera then zooms out, and we're given a sweeping view of the Bionis, stopping on Sword Valley, where the Monado's light has engulfed the entire battlefield. Cut to the Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS logo!

... Okay, so it's just a Smash Bros. themed recreation of the opening of Xenoblade, but you have to admit, it would make for one heck of an awesome trailer.

So something interesting I saw on Gamefaqs, some guy had a poll where if you had to choose between the two who would you rather want in Smash. The two choices were Ridley and Shulk. And the crazy thing is Shulk is winning. I know it's a little thing and it probably doesn't matter, but it's cool to see after the Gematsu leak dying Shulk's popularity has actually been increasing.
