I think it's because there's so much overwhelming evidence. It's easy to see Shulk is in. Too easy.

It's obvious Sakurai told Takeda to retweet the announcement and for Sal to say "he got a new e-mail from the tipster" to make us think Shulk is in when he's really not because apparently Sakurai spends more time on the internet trolling nerds than finishing up his game. Now where is my tinfoil hat?

Today is the day, everyone. Shulk's chances of being revealed are very likely at this point, but anything could happen. In the case of, be sure to not feel so down about it, as Shulk really is more than likely to make the cut regardless, whether today or not. We are in fact receiving someone, so it's not as if all is lost on this day.

Note: I want and sort of expect to see Shulk, but if not, I wouldn't really mind seeing anyone but the Chorus Men / Rhythm Heaven representative. . . To be blunt, I care nothing about that / those characters nor the source game they're from. That being said, I am actually a fan of Chrom, so I'd be able to live with that (though I will say I personally want him to be a secret character), and others that would leave me content would include King K. Rool and Mewtwo (another two would include a new TLoZ character, though I find that rather unlikely now, or Geno, but that train departed back in the pre-Brawl era and never really came back in full. . .).

The only newcomer reveal other than Shulk that wouldn't make me feel let down would be Isaac. Although it would be interesting to see the reaction to Chibi Robo being announced playable.

Just woke up from a dream wherein I saw the trailer and for some reason they decided to make Shulk super chibi and he wasn't voiced by Adam Howden. It actually didn't look terrible and they implemented a system where you were stronger or weaker whether you were in front of or behind your opponent, with him having a few specials that specifically helped with getting your opponents back to you.

But whoever my dream casted as Shulk's voice was terrible...

It actually didn't look terrible and they implemented a system where you were stronger or weaker whether you were in front of or behind your opponent, with him having a few specials that specifically helped with getting your opponents back to you.

But whoever my dream casted as Shulk's voice was terrible...

Man, I really hope we get to hear some voicework today. I need Adam Howden's voice in me!

Welp, I can't math but I guess we're getting closer on time. Being entirely honest I'm pretty easy to please and I'll probably be happy and excited regardless of whether we get him or not because newcomer reveal, aww yeah. Still, I'm jittery though since I do really hope it's mah sweet precious Shulk, but seriously I think I'll retain confidence of his inclusion even if we don't see his arrival today. HOPING SO MUCH THOUGH. Hoping always.

I'd be pretty let down if we didn't get some voice work actually. Little Mac and Palutena both featured a good bit of talking in theirs and Shulk seems to have pretty much the same type of supporting characters at his disposal to create some sort of "talk the new guy through what Smash is as he kicks ass" feeling like those other two.
