Which is kind of a shame. I've never understood why people will act so viciously to people who want a specific character in the game (I mean, gently explaining why Goku isn't getting in is one thing, but that's 4th party). I mean, people are happy, no need to rain on someone's parade. I kinda like Chrom and the Chorus Men, but this extends to any viable character (and even to non-viable ones). That's one reason I get so angry at people who bash Pac-Man and Mii Fighter (I've seen people on Miiverse literally scream at Sakurai demanding that he REMOVE Pac-Man). There are people who are happy they're in, people who probably jumped for joy and/or squealed with delight when they were announced. It's disgusting in my opinion to attack those people. I just think about how I would feel if the euphoria I'll be feeling from Shulk's announcement were interrupted by someone screaming about how he "doesn't deserve a spot" and should be removed. I mean, you can't expect everyone to like Shulk, Chrom, Chorus Men, or anyone, but the lack of respect some people show to people who like said character appalls me. There's a time and place to voice one's opinion, places where your words can be seen by people who are happy about the character you're bashing are not the place.
Sorry for the rant, and no, I obviously wasn't accusing you of that, your post just made me think, y'know?
