Ok, I think I've reached a point in the game where I can finally start participating in Shulk discussions here without having to worry too much about spoilers. So since I'm fairly new to all this, I have a few questions I'd like to ask you all:

1.) What location from Xenoblade do you think is the most likely to be made into a stage? Which one would you most like to have as a stage?

2.) What are some pieces of music from Xenoblade that you think are likely to be in Smash, and which ones would you want the most?

3.) Got any interesting move set ideas for Shulk? The OP only has two.

Ok, I think I've reached a point in the game where I can finally start participating in Shulk discussions here without having to worry too much about spoilers. So since I'm fairly new to all this, I have a few questions I'd like to ask you all:

1.) What location from Xenoblade do you think is the most likely to be made into a stage? Which one would you most like to have as a stage?

Heads up, the game keeps throwing curveballs at you up to and including the ending. The only place where you'd be far enough in game to avoid spoilers is if you've beaten it, so don't open spoiler tabs. We use 'em for a reason.

1) Gaur Plains; Satorl Marsh.

2) Again, Gaur Plains for both. Also "Tragic Decision" and the final boss theme, for songs I'd like.

3) I'd like to see him use the Break/Topple/Daze mechanics in his specials.

I figured as much. Currently I'm right at the final boss, though I've found out the hard way that I'm just not strong enough for it yet, so I'm planning on doing a lot of side quests to power up. Though as long as no one mentions anything about what happens during or after the final boss (which shouldn't be too hard), I should be fine for now.

I just beat Xenoblade for the first time, and that was one of the most complicated stories in a game I've ever played... It was also one of if not the best. I shed a tear once or twice as a result. Shulk is now among my most wanted newbies along with Isaac, Robin, and Rids. But something bothered me at the end...

Melia. I can't have been the only one who wanted Fiora to die so that Melia could be with Shulk... I didn't really like Fiora as a character, and I Ioved Melia. The game kinda led me on to think that that's what would happen at the end because Melia clearly had feelings for shulk, and Fiora was dying after Meyneth and her monado's power left her.

But on a more smash related note, I really hope shulk has many alternate costumes with the different monado forms and gear.

Man playing through Xenoblade Chronicles again has accentuated how much I want this character in this game. That game truly is something special. I would literally squeal like a girl if he were announced this upcoming Monday.

I would say that for the Chorus Men, actually. If they are confirmed, then both are in. I still hold Shulk and Chrom at a very high regard even without the leak.

This reminds me of the February Direct, which happened to be on the release date of Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. Such remarkable timing couldn't be coincidence, we thought.

We got Little Mac. Frankly, Sakurai is unpredictable.

I would say that for the Chorus Men, actually. If they are confirmed, then both are in. I still hold Shulk and Chrom at a very high regard even without the leak.

That is true, but considering that the leak already guessed 9 out of 12 correctly (correct me if im wrong) and the whole Mii fighters thing, Shulk is pretty much confirmed at this point and Chrom can only help that fact imo.

I really like your taste in newcomers! (Really, all around good picks in my opinion.)

I don't think characters have to be teased in some way before they're revealed. I mean, with someone like Shulk, revealing something like a Xenoblade stage would kind of be a dead giveaway that Shulk would (almost certainly) be playable. And for a long time, we didn't actually know that the Boxing Ring was a Punch-Out stage. They went out of their way to hide that fact. So no, I don't think Shulk is out of the question just because no Xenoblade content has been officially revealed yet.
