I've decided to host a tournament at my house, which is big enough to hold a lot of people.
This tournament will be Melee only.

TIME
10:30 - setup/friendlies/signups
12:00 - doubles start
after doubles - singles
possible crew battle after singles

LOCATION
8 Evergreen Ct, Millbrae
If you're taking the freeway, I suggest taking 280 because it is faster and less likely that you will get lost.

This is accessable from both BART and Caltrain. I will pick people up from the station at 10:30 and 12:00

There are a lot of fast food places nearby, but I wouldn't consider it walking distance.


The tournament will be $5 for singles and $10 per team. 60/30/10 distribution.
If there are enough setups, I'll do pools for singles.

I understand that it's Black Friday, but I assume a lot of people don't have work/school, so I hope people can come to this.

By the way, there is no end time for this tournament. People can stay as late as they like and are welcome to crash at my place if necessary.

I am going to try and go to this, I'm guessing get off at the Millbrae station? thats a big window to be picked up, think you could be a little more specific? I dont want to get there at 10:30 and be at the station for an hour and a half when I could just of shown up at 12

I don't know exactly when people want to show up, so I plan to pick up people at both 10:30 and at 12:00. I think that's fair to both the people who want to show up early and those who come late.

black friday is like the one day of the year where everything is on sale in stores.

so like every store has like massive **** sales and stuff, which explains why ppl came out and ****.

no idea why it's called black friday. maybe b/c stuff is cheap and slaves used to be cheap back in the day? i suspect a racist conspiracy behind the name of black friday. someone go look into that. NAO

hey everyone! my name's jeff, but i go by axe. i'm from Arizona, but i'm visiting vallejo, CA for thanksgiving. i'll be attending this tournament =) hopefully a lot of people will go to this, cuz i wanna play a crapload more melee players! cuz melee is amazing lol. does anyone wanna team up with me and be my double's partner? i main pikachu, but in doubles i like to use either fox or falco.

Are you taking bart? If so, I assume you need a ride from the station.

By the way, Shroomed + San Pablo people/anyone who will be staying up all night tonight: you're welcome to crash at my place before the tournament. Just give me warning or something.
