Have We Been TAINTED?

Do you think updates like Sonic, Snake, Stage Builder, Wi-Fi, Pokemon Trainer, mostly all Newcomers, My Music, and Subspace Emissary have tainted our minds? Do we expect an update of the same caliber every week day? I think so. Do you?

Yes, I've stated that many times, atleast to the people who complain about "bad" updates.

The only update I consider"bad" is the delay. All the rest are good updates, regardless of how much of an impact.

An update is an update.

We haven't got a character in almost a month now, and we usually get one every week. I think the weekly characters have really tainted us.

Tainted is a bad choice of word. Spoiled is a good one. but if they only gave us decent updates. we wouldent have an awesome game. we'd have a decent game. Awesome updates are a rare treat. like your Birthday or Christmas (but way. way. way. more often)

Two and a half months from release and we have already gotten a huge amount of updates, a demo and we are still getting 5+ updates a week. We're spoiled alright.

Tainted is good but yes, Spoiled is more accurate..
its just the fact that we really love special updates like that. i mean for a while now everybody's been thinking "new character tomorrow!" as have i, and i wish it would be... we'll just have to see. im still really thankful (not intended...at least i dont think it was) for the fact that we do get updates and i think we all should. we could get left out in the cold by Sakurai. but he loves us so it's all good.
still hoping for 1 more character. and then that's it. i think he'll announce one more newcomer and no more vets. we'll see...

I think YOUR mind has been SPOILED. You know there is gonna be like a million more AT updates, and How to play updates. We shouldn't expect to get the "OMFG" updates everyday.

Sad really, weekly updates would seem really bad now, but they could be really good if we hadn't already been spoiled by the word daily.

we have all been spoiled, complaining about not getting a good update shame on us...
think about it this way, he has to give a bunch of updates before the games release. if he gave us all the characters now, we would at first be all "yay!" but then once we got the game, it wouldnt be as exciting. so I am personaly glad we get non ground shattering updates, it means we have more to look forward too.

Training had the soccer ball, Smart Bomb told us about dud pokemon, alt had blonde Zelda

Sure, its not as good as say sonic or stage builder. But its better than nothing

That's why people complain about updates constantly, when there could very well be no DOJO. This IS unprecedented, what Sakurai's doing, after all.
