If you SH and needle charge cancel as soon as you start jumping, you can stay alot lower to the ground than normal SH lets you and you can go straight into any other move.I also found if you reverse needle this technique you can get really quick b airs which could be pretty decent as a shield wearing technique that maintains good distance on your opponent.Bear in mind you need pretty quick fingers to do this in to a L canceled aerial and into another repeat of the whole process.Ive never seen this used in any videos and Ive been using it alot lately and it can make Sheiks aerial game a bit quicker(although it is tough to do consistently)

Try it out and let me know what you think.

PS If your confused, post what you dont get and ill try and explain.Im also going to try and make a video of it.

If you're talking about what I think you are then I think Forward does this with nairs in Friends of the Night.

Yeah it's useful, just cuz it looks fancy and you charge up a needle in the process. Fancy stuff tricks people out, so no, that isn't useless. Omar does that **** all the time.

I never said I found anything new.I just figured it out and wondered if it had been done before.Had I,I would have started with OMG WTF MY NU TECH WILL PWN TEH PROZORS! I never once claimed to have discovered it.

Oh and in relation to Justices' question its pretty fast,it would want to be for the amount of buttons/practice you have to press/do to do it properly and consistently.

i think it was amsah who said:

needle cancel turnaround bair >>> fair

(in the short form ^^)
You missunderstood. Its nothing to do with that move. Its the fact that you can stay very close to the ground by doing it the way I said(the fact that Sheik has no true SH make it pretty interesting)It(in practice) allows more aerials in a shorter space of time.

i do it all the time
very useful technique
the only downside is, it leaves you incapable of attacking while holding B and a fox can easily upsmash from beneath you or something so just make sure you space it properly and cancel the needle's to jump or attack before the fox gets you =/, but the pro's definetly outweigh the cons

testing it out somewhat.... i dont play sheik but i may start not sure... btw i want to try some stuff that require a fox players hand movements??? can anyone here from the ledge..... reverse needle charge b-air and regrab the ledge? i was just wondering cause usually people are attentive to the ledge hopped f-air. but if your still on the ledge and using the b-airs hitbox... well yeah. someone try it please?

wow, this actually does lower your shorthop, YOU can use this to shuffle aerials beneath the platforms of pokemon stadium whereas you would normally go through

the only con is that the charge seems to halt your DI somewhat, but i guess that can be a good thing too

o_O I'll try this:p As well as amsah's needle cancel turnaround bairs

speaking of trying stuff
I saw Tope do some pretty snazzy pivot jabs and pivot ftilts. I'm wondering if anyone else can do a pivot jab consistently?

I can pivot-fsmash with 95% accuracy, but when it goes down to pivot jabs, I can't control my pivot jab vs pivot ftilt as well (this is after 1 day of practice)

@ the guy 2 posts before:
bairs have too much lag time for you to regrab the ledge from a reverse needle canceled bair. Unless you include a jump in there, at which point the technique would be useless because you might as well walljump a bair which would have just as much range anyways.

Just about any attack you do the 1st frame you leave the ground will shorten any character's jump. You could also f-air with Sheik as you leave the ground from a shorthop then n-air just before you land. It's also not a lot shorter just a small amount. Instead of being in the air for 38 frames you're in the air for 36. A fulljump with Sheik is 50 to give an idea.
