First, his points are all jumbled and don't really have anything to back them up with. He focuses on that fact that Ran is calling Circus scum becuase of a guess that Ran has that Circus knows Sword is scum and they are scum buddies. He's "jumping that they're scumbudds" because he has a scum read on both of them. Same with RR. To me, Ran is looking for a scum team. Ran is being paranoid with the Circus and Sword thing both saying that "Ran is Ran". DH's post about Ran's fourth point is weird as well. He doesn't seem to understand that Ran is under the impression that we know the scum team doesn't have daytalk. Thus, Ran is saying that since Sword would chainsaw against Ran because Sword thought Ran was scum with him. Overall, although Ran's post is very paranoid and confused and weird overall, DH attacks points that are easily explainable and he doesn't look at the intent behind the posts. Every single post he has made has been about Ran and he is tunneling in on the person that looks the most scummy atm.

This is a weird thing for a townie to just assume on their own, to me. And now that he basically has no reason to suspect any of his previous suspects, he apparently still thinks Swords and I are scum for...literally, no given reason.

Can you elaborate on this? How would a townie approach II in comparison to someone who is scum? There isn't any information on whether scum partners do or do not know each other and even if that information were known, there are a number of ways that scum could react with regards to that information given.

That's the rule there... But I just realized Nabe saying he wouldn't reveal if they knew their partners or not. ;-; Because of that, I'd concede to my rr, sang, and soup reads. But I'll keep Swords and Circus as scum reads. (Because Circus has been very fence sitty, and Swords attack on EBR was bad)

The idea that scum would tell Ran to do that seems overly elaborate, as it seems unrealistic that scum would come up with a plan to use Ran to get town to fall into more meta/theory discussion. Really, isn't this more likely to just be Ran being, well, Ran? Also, scum has no private communication unless they guess the true theme of the game. So unless scum Ran and a scum buddy have guessed the true theme of the game already, then your suggestion that Ran was told to do this is impossible.

Could you elaborate on what you found "bad" about this particular post? I found the underlined portion a fairly rational rebut to the accusation that you were being coached by J|Swiss.

No, I disagree that Circus is making a good push on me. I do think EBR's push on me was good. I still think Circus is scum.

That wasn't his reason for voting him. Essentially, that also seems like a mistake a townie could make because townies always look for scum, and connections. Scum know that they don't and might not say it as much. Regardless, Sword's main point was "Do you seriously think ran is scum?". That was not a good reason to vote EBR. Essentially he was just using an excuse for me to attack EBR, which I didn't like. Thus I think Swords is scum.

EBR's initial push with regards to you providing RVS questions struck me as being null. However what I did find interesting was the fact that he said you got the idea to do it from someone else. I doubt EBR was under the impression scum (you + RVS idea partner) guessed the true theme and was able to communicate (it's a bit of a stretch). I believe it is more likely that he may have forgotten about the fact that there is no private communication between scum. As this was fairly early during RVS period, I do not believe that scumEBR would not be forget of having the inability to communicate with partners. I do believe it is a stretch to place them as town solely due to these reasons, however I'm treating that slot as null-town at the moment.

So it's super late and I'm on my way to bed, so I don't have time to dig into the novels that people have published in this thread in the last 24 hours (though I'm glad people are talking), but I figured I'd say something since I'm here and I don't want Ran going "Circus I saw you looking y u no post."

Ran, the deadline actually is tomorrow. We've got a little less than 33 hours if my math isn't embarrassingly off. But that is pretty close to deadline, and there's no reason to expect an extension (doesn't really bother me). We firm on a Ran lynch, people? Or does anyone have someone better in mind? I'd be pretty willing to lynch, like, half the roster.

Keep in mind that I've hardly even read the past page of whatever of posts. I skimmed through it, saw how long it all was and was like "LOL." So any nuggets of gold there may be in there are currently being ignored by me.

I'll be on tomorrow Night after work (or at least I plan to be) and hopefully I'll be able to catch up and help finalize this Day with everybody.

I'm heading to bed. I don't like Dark Horse's vote on your wagon, nor do I understand his points clarifying your #130 as being scummy. He stated that you fossing Sword when he rebutted EBR was a scum tell because town wouldn't call out someone defending them as being scum normally. At least, that's what I mostly understood from his type of questioning. Ironically I also believe that the DH lynch is opportunistic. The attitude he takes on the post and his case construction makes him seem like popular feedback lynch candidate in case a wagon can't develop on anyone else. I need to do another read to look at SangfroidWarrior|July|travelingcat. I think I know where Swiss is coming from on his J FoS, but I'm not sure I want to commit to lynching him today.

Ranmaru one more question, when you were trying to figure out if mafia was trying to find their partner, why didn't you mention the interaction between Sang & asianaussie during RVS?

It seemed harmless. The early interaction seemed like AA just trying to find an ally. It was just a null to me. I mean I don't think AA would try to find his partner in that way by asking to be friends. I even stated that I liked that interaction.

I just didn't like that she was trying to get clarification from Joey without really getting anywhere. So that just seemed like she was looking for something else.
