I actually find the direct hit's splash is way too little. It hits fine at close range, but at midrange its horribly inaccurate. Probably I was hoping for an accuracy weapon and not a damage weapon, because that's sort of what it turned out to be. Airshotting with it is easier though.

Not to mention it minicrits people who jump. With the spacebar.

Yup. They should either make it so it registers "for reals" airshots only or remove it altogether, I think.

Haven't gotten to try the DH myself, my milestone for it effed up, but I'm guessing it's not gonna be too hard for me to use since I've played the Demo my whole ''career'' and my prediction abilities are decent. The dumb thing was the only weapon for the solly I was interested in. :(

Portal 2 gets co-op, heading to Xbox 360 and PC

http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/05/portal-2-gets-co-op-heading-to-xbox-360-and-pc/

http://kotaku.com/5486758/portal-2-adds-multiplayer-co+op-new--familiar-characters

"Today's big reveal of Portal 2 as next month's Game Informer cover did lots of us in the maniacal excitement department, but little for us in the hard facts department. But now, between Eurogamer being told by Valve that the game is heading to Xbox 360 and PC, and Game Informer's reveal that the sequel features a "two-player co-op mode [with] its own campaign [featuring] two new playable characters" (not to mention that it's set to release at "full retail price")"

"Coming this holiday. Portal 2 is the sequel to 2007's Game of the Year and draws from the award-winning formula of innovative game play, story, and music that earned the original over 70 industry accolades. Features single and multiplayer co-op modes. The single-player portion of Portal 2 introduces a cast of dynamic new characters, a host of fresh puzzle elements, and a much larger set of devious test chambers. Players will explore never-before-seen areas of the Aperture Science Labs and be reunited with GLaDOS, the occasionally murderous computer companion who guided them through the original game. The game's two-player cooperative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters. This new mode forces players to reconsider everything they thought they knew about portals. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively."

*BUMP*

New information on the much anticipated Engineer update for TF2. I read that you can get a gold wrench that when you hit someone (with low enough HP) and they normally die, they turn into a gold statue.

Also, a new thing which you can build which may grant invulnerability/life extended to teammates and a new shotgun.

EDIT: New shotgun

Engy update is god**** hilarious. Baby sentries are so cute and the shotgun is so OP. Plus now sentries look like Droidekas with the shields and all.

im just about sick and tired of the engie update already lol. and its been like day 3. too many engies on arena making it no fun for scouts. I actually picked up demo lately just to learn how to deal with the new engie shenanigans.

i do like how engies are a lot more offensive though.

and if you guys wanna play just send me a friend request im mostly playing arena but would be down for some scrims and whatnot . steam name: "murdok11"

Golden Wrench event was dumb lol.

Predetermined timed drops lol.

Anyone playing Demoman is having a field day right now.

Its basically Scout update all over again, just instead of baseballs flying all over the map, you here "Spy sappin' my-" all day.

I think its pretty funny actually. Mini-sentries are adorable.

Team Fortress 2 Updates Soldier On With New Modes, New Weapons Next Month

http://kotaku.com/5610447/team-fortress-2-updates-soldier-on-with-new-modes-new-weapons-next-month

PC Gamer writes that Valve is planning an update to the venerable class-based shooter within the next month. That new version will reportedly add "item trading, a brand new game mode, and around twenty new weapons and hats.""
In Valve time that's...month after the next? Gah I just want this Polycount update to come out already.

Nothing wrong with that if the hat is still available via traditional means.

Done by the same person. Liked Law Abiding engie better. Soldier just doesn't seem like a good Harvey Dent.

Agreed, though The Demo Knight is still pretty interesting, the guy who made them is pretty talented and obviously a TF2 fan so that just shows his level of awesome.

Man looking back on this thread I find all the Pre hype on 6 year old games pretty funny.

Also, I never got half-life. I have half life 2 there, but seeing from the gameplay it doesn't actually look pretty good. That, and I'm not sure if I should be playing Half Life 2 or Half Life Episode 1 >_<
