sup im moving to DC area to start work next month and will be lookin to smash/chill

looking for place to live and was hoping to get some advice on cool places/places to avoid

i wanna smash, be close to a music venue, live 10-15 mins walking from a metro station (commuting public trans to work, not gonna have a car/moto, and afraid of biking), and avoid expensive rent (<1k/month)

any advice would be appreciated thanks~ sorry im jacking thread

Ha...well I can tell you that you won't find a decent apartment around DC for under $1K, that's for sure. Hope you like roommates!

Also, MARC/VAC are superior to the Metro. Keep that in mind if you can use those lines.
