A lot of the champions are boring, look lame, or are a part of a niche I don't care about. I only own and play 5 consistently at the moment (Rammus, Poppy, Caitlyn, Tristana, and Nasus), but I'm gonna pick up Le Blanc because I'd like to give AP Carry a try.
I also don't play at all except on weekends, and special days during the week, so I don't have that kind of IP to burn. :applejack:
Be warned, LeBlanc's not so much an AP Carry as she is an AP assassin. Her carrying skills aren't that great, but if you want to blow someone up then she'll get the job done.

good runes are a lot more important than champs imo. i only own 8 heroes released during season 1.

i haven't been excited enough to buy a hero on release day since cassiopeia

shyvana has the potential to make me do that

gotta see her mechanics first tho
I play pretty casually and I have most useful rune combos, every current champ and 6300 IP every two weeks to buy new ones.

IDK what most people do with their IP, I guess.

What John said. I dont really know what to call that, so I say tank. I actually usually build more AP on him, while concentrating on bringing up my survivability at the same time.
Yeah that's what you'd call the off-tank. Off-tanks can't really initiate, usually due to a lack of hard cc. Their role on the team is basically to just back up the main tank in keeping your carries from getting harmed while simultaneously doing whatever it is that their kit allows them to do. Nunu's an off-tank obviously, but his W and E are essentially moves to support a ranged carry as well. Therefore, he's off-tank/support.

Just figured I'd inform you, that's all.

So now that I have time to play regularly again I've decided to delve back into ranked, only played 2 games atm. I forgot how much of a stomp the first couple games are lol. Anyways, once these jokes are over with, hopefully I'll be able to break the 1400 barrier I was so close to during Season 1

How much deeps was your voidlings doing?
Did you have like 2 or 3 out at once?
Assume you use E to get a Voidling (lowest CD). Time to get another Voidling is Q+W+E+E, which is 22.2 seconds. Voidlings last 21 seconds, so you can only get 2 out with your ult.

Usually 2 out at once. They were doing 250-300 each attack. I literally melted towers late game. faster than graves.

you can easily get 3 out with 30-40% cdr. i've heard rumors of four.

sorry about my bad play zac/px/others, it's just a weird mentality for me when I play normal games, I definitely don't play like that in ranked =\

well, there are many different types of ap carries. on one extreme you've got leblanc (a mobile assassin whose role is to eliminate a single target) and on the other extreme you've got karthus (an aoe nuker whose role is to constantly damage the entire enemy team). the rest of the ap carries fall somewhere in between. i say this because you might dislike leblanc and think "ap carries aren't for me" when they actually come in many shapes and sizes, and leblanc has a very specific niche.
Well, that kinda applies to most roles in League I'd think.
Hell, Caitlyn/Tristana feel almost exactly the same, but are also worlds apart from how I play them. Then you have Poppy, whose style I friggin LOVE. They're all AD carries (I think), but, at least Cait/Trist vs. Poppy, they play totally different.

Le Blanc looks fun though, I'll say that much. The biggest challenge is gonna be learning her on locked screen. I can't stand playing on an unlocked camera.

Be warned, LeBlanc's not so much an AP Carry as she is an AP assassin. Her carrying skills aren't that great, but if you want to blow someone up then she'll get the job done.
That's fine. She's the only AP character in general that looks interesting.
I go by the looks and lore of the characters I play as anyways, and all of the other AP characters are totally lame. :applejack:

Anivia's lore is awesome.
Too bad she's a ****, and looks totally lame.

Caitlyn is a sheriff, a sniper, has an awesome voice, and a *****in' hat. :applejack:

I've accidentally gotten 4 out ONCE.

Its due to the bug with his malefic visions which if the minion dies during the opening animations of it, your spell doesn't go on CD but you proc one voidling.

It's not easy to do that consistently, but if you were super pro and well set up (like one spell doing like 90% damage to minions to abuse it) you could have out a lot of voidlings.

I think this is right. Black squares are the times when skills are cast, longer boxes are cooldowns.

I didn't take cast times into account, but I don't think it'd affect anything since his ult can make up for the missed sixth E.

JTB. It's whatever, I was only frustrated because I have limited time to play since I have test coming up on Friday... and I was making an honest attempt at learning jungle fiddle.

Also, Shaya, it doesn't matter b/c you were D/Ced all game!

Who does well against Jax in lane? Champs that can sustain his burst like Chogath?

Jax has been sort of meh in lane since the nerfs

I heard Nasus does well vs him though. And I usually have no problems as singed

And I tried ad malzs and it worked brilliantly. His 1v1 is insanely good but without his spells doing much damage and the danger of autoattacking, his voidling damage falls off a bit lategame. I went tear brut manamune bt triforce and last whisper

Anyone got a better build?

Jax does fine vs Nasus imo. Probably just a farmfest matchup.

Singed absolutely poops on him. Renekton, Garen, Akali, most APs, and Tryndamere are some common ones that I think beat him fairly easily if you do it right.

Most of his matchups are either he loses or he farms evenly with the opponent IMO.
