Yeah, I guess it does sound kinda stupid...

I guess I'm just venting out my anger I have towards those three broken characters...

No worries! Hakuna Matata :]
In your opinion, how many regulars do you think will be in Brawl?

Like,
Melee was:

Fox, Falco, Marth, Sheik (Top Played)
Peach, Falcon, Samus, IC's Jiggly (Also Common)

Who do you think will be the top characters, plus the other high common?

:]

Well, it's kinda too early to tell. I just know that there will still be many Snakes, MK's and DDD's in the future.

Besides those three, I just don't know where the game is headed.

go fox. sheik v peach is 55/45ish for sheik, not much of an advantage. fox, on the other hand, destroys peach.

Naw, Sheik ***** Peach hard. The match up is 60/40 for Sheik, if not a bit more.
But if you really want to **** Peach, go Fox or Marth.

At any rate, DSF is a really cool guy and really good at Brawl. You all should be proud that he travelled to the East Coast and got top 10. He'll only get better too. Good ****.

nope, you just don't play the matchup properly. peach is very very dirty to sheik and with good DI lives a lot longer than sheik does. she also beats sheik in edge guarding.

peach v marth is also relatively even, again you don't know the matchup

the matchups represent what the true matchup is when, in a vacuum, both characters play it 100% properly. just because you don't doesn't mean it's broken or not broken or w/e

Before I start, remember Peach is horrible at approaching. HORRIBLE.

I disagree, Sheik ***** Peach hard if the Sheik camps properly and doesn't mess up with the spacing. Getting a Sheik off the stage usually means the Sheik player messed up in his spacing and most likely did not camp properly. Sheik has many options/attacks in getting/keeping Peach in the air, and that's definitely not good for Peach. Spaced Bairs **** Peach as well as Sheiks grabs and grabbing Peach is not THAT hard if the Sheik knows what he is doing. Also, Sheik has many ways of killing Peach through simple setups. I can go on and on. This is a very difficult match for a Peach player. The Peach player has to be very consistent and capitalize as much as possible if he is to have any hopes of winning the match.

I still believe it's 60/40 - 65/35 Sheik.

As far as Marth goes, this is just as hard if not a bit harder.

If the Marth players spaces his attacks properly, the Peach is ****ed. All of Marth's attacks out space all of Peach's attacks. All a Peach player can really rely on is getting simple dash attacks in as much as possible and try to get the Marth to mess up (and if a Marth sees a dash attack coming, then it's a free shield grab which is definitely not good). If the Marth is consistent with his spacing, then it's GG Peach. Once again, the Peach player must be amazingly consistent and must try so hard to get into the Marth players head if he has any chance of winning.

The only way I can think of making this match a bit more easier for Peach is by taking the Marth to Mute City or Brinstar.

This match is definitely 60/40 - 65/35 Marth

Yeah, Marth and Sheik **** Peach. Peach beats Sheik in edgeguarding? WTF?

And also, yes Peach is GARBAGE at approaching. That's the thing I first learned from the first pro I talked to. He said, "What can't Peach do that every other good character can do? She can't approach, and that's probably her biggest problem."

holy ****, i'm sorry, but wow. i can't finish your post after reading this.

wtf?
It's true. Peach is horrible at approaching. Some of the finest Peach players would agree. Why else do you think Peach gets ***** by Fox's, Sheiks, and pretty much the entire roster of characters? It's because she can't approach nearly as well as other characters.

Why else do you think she has trouble with Sheiks? Because if they camp, then they force her to approach and well, that she cannot really do. It's common knowledge P... or at least I thought it was...

Having a decent projectile and the ability to have 4 frames of lag on ANY aerial makes you pretty good at approaching.

Fun fact about Peach: Her nair and fair scale differently. Fair is stronger until something like 90-100%, then nair is stronger.

Clearly it's Melee Peach.

Who talks about Brawl Peach?

And Peach doesn't lose to campy anything, unless it's campy with excellent spacing. But it's more the spacing part than the camping part.

It's not about the lack of lag after her aerials; it's about the aerials themselves. Her only decent aerial for approaching is her Fair. Everything else is situational and not even that good (as far as approaching goes).

Her turnip isn't anything special for approaching either. It's best used for camping instead (and she is easily outcamped by both spacies and Sheik).

Spacing is a given and it goes hand to hand with camping. Without proper spacing, it's not effective camping. If the opponent doesn't space properly, he will leave room for punishment and Peach is a complete ***** as far as punishing goes. But the key word is if.

However, if the opponent camps effectively than the Peach is forced to approach and that goes back to the previous argument.
