stop trying to kill with fairs. you kill with uair around 110% out of a dthrow if you do it properly
I haven't ever been able to do it consistently enough to where I can rely on it. Sheik's dthrow actually has less hitstun than most people think, it's why atlus can rest out of it and hugo can up B at higher percents (+100%).

also crouch cancel peach's dsmash when she edge guards you for one hit, that stops the dsmash edge guarding cycle, which bad peaches love to do.
Lol of course I know about this, I'm just really bad at it. I just up B barely onto the stage so when they stand up they either push me onto the edge or they dsmash and send me back towards the stage. If I do it too high you can turn around and grab, but then I get my jump back and with DI I'll definitely make it back to the stage.

also sheik can wd out of shield to grab peach after she dsmashes. most peaches spam a buffered spot dodge -- wait and grab.
I do that all day, but if they're smart they'll jab after. They can move essentially at the same time you try to grab, so they can jab, roll away, dsmash again, etc. You really shouldn't be able to grab.

Peach has no moves sufficient enough for shield pressure.
One Word: DOWNSMASH

Fair/Nair > jab > downsmash = plenty of shield pressure
I WD in, you jab, dsmash again and it goes through my shield.

I remembered trying out that approach vs Gimpy's Bowser and right after my Fair, he Up-B out of shield before my jab could come out lol. It was kinda gross.... lol.
Sheik doesn't have any moves like that lol

wtf you of all people should know (or should have learned from playing me)
if you dthrow peach
she will nair, which will out prioritize your fair/uair

as sheik after the dthrow i always like to wait for the nair and then respond with a tilt, unless the peach is at like 150% then you might get away with that dthrow uair...

dthrow uair works every time, you have to be near frame perfect (or maybe frame perfect). i don't do it all the time precisely because the timing is tricky and i haven't played enough peaches to learn it, but it's possible to do 100%, peach can't nair beforehand

That's right, Downsmash does pressure a shield like mad but I almost never do it when my opponent is shielding simply because it usually gets me punished. Vs Sheik, I never dsmash after the Fair approach if Sheik shields because Sheik has a good shield and can punish me after blocking my Dsmash via WD out of shield to grab.

As far as jabbing goes after Dsmashing, I believe if you time your WD out of shield correctly, you can grab me before I can jab. It's all about not waiting too long for the animation of the Dsmash to end. Usually, if I Dsmash a shielding Sheik and I notice they waited to long in their shield, I will most likely throw out a jab for defensive measures and follow up accordingly.

Edit: Just a little tidbit for you Kira. If a Peach approaches with a Fair and follows up with a jab (assuming you were shielding), I believe you can jump out of shield. So if you know they are going to use Dsmash, jump out of shield and come down with a Fair to punish them. But be cautious of the percentage. If it's too low, they might be able to CC your Fair and follow up with another Dsmash.
