Joe you have pish banter, the game doesnt become worse because the weaker characters are being used because everyone has to use weaker characters, that is what makes it have huge as **** banter.

The random character idea is dumb, i wouldnt pay to enter it if you arent gonna include the better characters anyway just have a low tier tourney. And if you think theyre wont be enough for teams how the hell are we gonna make numbers for crews? You choose team mates before teams so i wouldnt enter unless the crews had been determined prior to paying.

i mean thats the reason we're not using top tiers anyway right.
My Y.LINK is in the bottom tier, so its not fair if i come across a LINK player really is it =(.

You miss the point tbh, yea you are right bottom tier characters still have the disadvantage. But at least now they still have a much better chance than if high tiers were included and are much more playable. A decent link/luigi will beat a bottom tier player of equal or maybe even slightly higher skill. But like compare the link kirby match up to maybe the marth kirby match up. Your y.link might still not be so appealing, but he's still alot more appealing now than he would be in normal singles right?

Without the tiers its still clear that theres a large split in the game between certain characters. Most of the low tiers if played properly can win a low tier tournament.

But the main reasoning behind pushing such a tournament is because of the banter. As pointed out to me last night most of the low tier cast have loads and loads of banter and I feel inclined to agree if anything just for the banter. Typical Joe comes in whining about all the tiny details cause he doesnt know how to use anyone who cant laser while Kieran and Ben are in it for the banter!
