The abduct goes through today.
There will be none tomorrow.
After that he can prove it.

But srsly, JTB, you promised me it will be worthwhile.

Give me a bit, I'm typing it up but I need to clarify some things first.

Orbo, I want to know EXACTLY what your power does. All you did was say you were a de-evo and apply it to the vines, but didn't actually give a description of the power itself.

My flavor says that I and my twin, inferno's flipped character iirc, made a ray gun that could be used to do a bunch of evil ****but we decided to use it for good.
the power description says I can destroy random mutations, such as plants bursting out of nowhere(plants are mentioned specifically in my PM)

Alright, I'll lay it out.

I'm pretty certain that Orbo is our abducting indy. His claim didn't stand out to me much at first, but as more and more people claimed, it just seems so....out of place for a few reasons.

First off is the name of the role. Let's look at all the current flips/claims

Tracker
(Popcap) Vigilante
Jailer
Bodyguard
Vigilante
Thief
Reporter
Inventor
Mass Roleblocker

....and De-Evolutionary Ray. All of the roles we have seen have been traditional Mafia roles, but De-Evolutionary Ray? That's not even a role, its a ****ing POWER. First red flag.

Second red flag is the power itself. The only application of it that has been brought up is for removing the vines. Again, this seems really out of place. The method of abduction is already weak as it is (if I'm understanding it correctly), you have to say a certain word during the Day in order to activate it and even so, there's no guarantee the word will be said (see Day 3). So...why is there a town role that solely exists to stop the already weak indy? I know this is reaching, but there are three possible situations:

1) Orbo is really town de-evo ray and exists solely to stop the indy.
2) Orbo is the indy and has the ability to retract the vines in order to appear more town
3) Orbo is the indy and is lying about the ability to remove the vines

I really wish I had more time to work on this prior to work, but I have to start getting ready to leave. Other things that need to be checked are:

Steven, Town de-evolutionary ray. I'm a one shot de-evo that can be used at any time, Day phase included. The major example of this we've seen would be the plant mutation thing that voteblocked John. I could have undone that had the Day not ended before i got online.
Someone should check his activity D2 and see if this is actually true.

His play in general. I remember asking him some questions earlier in the Day and not getting straight answers, I want to check if his play throughout the game has been on the sidelines and measures up to what to be expected of an indy.

sup nerds, EE here.

Alright I just woke up, but I'm all read up. lol dat Ran push. Wow that was scummy jesus christ. Ran could still just be dumb though, RR is scummier hanging fruit by leaps and bounds.

G Life and I were working on something for a few hours yesterday (relates to Detectivescum) and I really want us to get a chance to finish it up before the Day ends. You never know what kind of bull**** is gonna go down and this is important stuff. If you want I can give you a teaser of the premise, I guess. But yeah I'm waiting on G Life to get back from school so we can finish it.

Alright, so the plan. I'm glad you ran the numbers. Honestly, I just didn't want to use the de-evolution ray on JDietz. That could go to saving, y'know, a smart person. One that actually reads the ****ing game and uses their brain once in a while. I just thought we had no choice due to numbers; turns out the numbers are more forgivin' than I thought, and him disappearing would be great for my peace of mind.

I like Ran using his power toNight. There's one thing you should probably be prepared though -- Ran has claimed that his power "makes everyone look at me". He might function like a lightning rod, which iirc draws all night actions into himself. The good thing about this is that scum lightning rod would be literally the stupidest thing in the world. The bad thing is that he would die in the process of proving himself, heh.

If you're okay with that, I am down. More peace of mind I don't have to worry about reading. If it really is just a mass roleblock that's kind of null for me, as that could easily be a last ditch scum role, but eh. Still a point in his favor.

I like the part where one of Meow and JTB dies immediately. However, I'm not so crazy on the fact that JTB will be alive for at least two more cycles. Your plan is great on paper, but disobedience requires but a clack on his keyboard and we don't know what the other scum are capable of. Well other than Meow, obv. Dat stalker.

Maybe I read your plan too quickly but hinging on the claimed killer listening to us is always dicey, especially when they are as obvscum as JTB. What contingencies are in place? Is it just all relying on numbers and scumJTB to play ball because it gets him the closest to endgame?

Per the invention, I don't really want to send you a gun just because if Ran DOES function like a lightning rod, then he gets a gun, and he is scum at worst and horrendous town at best. G Life and I have had some ideas for inventions, we can lay them out later when he gets on. We have some good **** there.

is this detective scum case gonna be ebough to sway the lynch a different way(if that's its purpose) or is it just food for thought during the night?

Nobody really cares.

If JTB does shoot he'd have to be scum with Ran and Ran would have to not use the roleblocker. That would out them both, I think that'd win us the game if we also find the indy (who is pretty powerless due to Orbo). Even then, there are probably two scum left, which means that if Meow flips scum, they can't be.

Overall, JTB should only be alive one phase, which in the plan is the most questionable. It's the one where we lynch Ranmaru and he shoots Red Ruy. and yeah, I really want to shoot Red Ruy too, to be sure, but a report on JTB should do the trick.

That wouldn't matter, as he would die.

Lay the options out anyway.
And give the preview of the case.

We're all just waiting on you now, basically.

Overall, JTB should only be able to shoot for one phase, which in the plan is the most questionable. It's the one where we lynch Ranmaru and he shoots Red Ruy. and yeah, I really want to shoot Red Ruy too, to be sure, but a report on JTB should do the trick.

and yes, we don't know scums complete actions, but I'm willing to take the "risk".

Glyph is on and we're almost done the case. As far as killing Detective instead of Meow, well. I'm a lot more sure about Meow, but Detective could potentially be more dangerous.

So here's the thing. Look at what Detective has claimed. He predicts a lynch, and if it goes through, he gets a bonus.

...He claimed the mother****ing warlock.

The warlock is an antitown -- I cannot emphasize this enough, always antitown -- role whose win condition is to predict X number of lynches correctly, at which point they win. Sometimes they just exit the game. Sometimes, however, that ENDS the game, with a loss for all others. It's extremely common on EpicMafia, from where a lot of our standard roles are pilfered, and I've seen it in DGames a few times as well. There was also a mafia variant in Bingo Mafia, where Glyph had to predict lynches to obtain basic powers such as his nightkill and other ****. You can probably see why the top of his head blew off when he saw the ****ing claim, that considered, as he was basically a mafia warlock.

It's easy to see why this is antitown. You have an incentive to push a predetermined lynch, rather than the best possible lynch for town as the information ebbs and changes.

In googling, I did manage to find one instance of a Bookie, I admit.

Bookie: The Bookie is a Townie who each night may place a bet on either (a) who will be killed during that night, or (b) who will be lynched during the following day. If the Bookie wins his bet, he will have an additional choice the following night -- (a) bring someone back to life, or (b) investigate someone, with the option of looking for either Mafia or Werewolves. If the chosen person is dead, he shall be brought back to life. If he is alive, the Bookie will be told whether or not that person is Mafia/Werewolf.
Three things to note:

-This role ****ing sucks, because it has a Reviver power and Revivers rarely balance.
-The other thing he obtains is an investigation, a selfless protown ability, by making a correct prediction.
-He can also predict NIGHTKILLS, which is what any sane person would do because it doesn't give you an incentive to **** around with the lynch.

RR has claimed that he gets BP for his prediction. PERMANENT BP. Something self-preservational only.

He has also claimed that he gets only ONE shot at the prediction. Glyph and I made damn sure we coaxed a hard stance out of him there, and he gets only one chance, or so he says. If you have only one shot at the prediction, you have a ridiculously vested interest in making that lynch go through, information and protown action be DAMNED.

We've also found connections that we think might lead to Mafia Warlock in particular. And I haven't gone back to doublecheck, but I'd bet my ****ing house on RR and the Detective slot half-arsedly pushing the Bardull thing along without much of a reason to do so. Just like every push they've made this game.

Here's the kicker. Remember what RR did at the start of this Day? Tried to take control. If you question his leadership, if you don't do what he says, etc etc, you die. Ohhhhh oogie boogie, you so scurry Red Ruy! And what did he want to do with this power?

"We are lynching Biceps unless there is something like a cop guilty".

Kinda **** a WARLOCK WOULD SAY, ISN'T IT?

One of Biceps' scumpicks flips town on lynch. The other dies in the night, by JTB's hand. That leaves us with our pants down and no real idea what to do next. And then suddenly here's Red Ruy, doggedly pushing our lynch before the ****ing claims have even come in and asserting his alleged authority in the process.

FISHY AS ****

SCUMMY AS ****

The one reason I am not vehemently pushing Detective's lynch atm is that Meow is just so obviously the stalker, and nixing scum's investigative is just always a good idea. But I worry about, if he's actually indy warlock, he can just predict his own lynch... blugh.

Lend me your brain, Bronie. So much scum in this ****ing game, I just don't know where to start.

Dude.

You stole my ****ing post.

I totally wanted to post something similar (but less elaborate) tomorrow. Anyway, I think we should stick to my plan. Red Ruy will die. JTB will also die. There is a lot of scum here. JDietz dying is a bad thing, but it's a best worst case scenario. We need to keep that anti-plant thing.

Meow->Detective->JTB->Ranmaru

that's how scum looks atm, in that order.
If Meow doesn't flip scum, we'll have to take a good second look and re-evaluate.

I think the plan is the best course of action right now.

Today, Meow lynch.
Tonight, Jdietz abduct.
Everyone use your night action even when Ran will mass roleblock.
JTB shoots Red Ruy.
Muscles draws me a vig thing.
Im reporting on Ran.
Ran will massroleblock.
Meow will die.
JDietz is lasering Red Ruy if he survives.

Orbo n Red do nothing.

Tomorrow, people will claim results in this order:
Ran, JTB, (Red/Orbo), Xonar, Jupiter

Put Meow at L-1.
Don't really care for what Ranmaru has to say, but if he's fast enough he can get it in before hammer.
