when i was reading one of the wiki's(mafiascum i think?) It said that the mafia traitor counted as a townie but had the mafia win con, and that even in a lyo with all traitors and mafia the mafia would need to kill all the traitors to achieve wincon.
hence, the traitor would actually count towards town majority.

I beleive you are mistaken.

Traitors don't work like that, at least not around here. They are mafia, but just don't join in a QT or are necsarily known to the mafia.

There are different variants that act in a variety of ways, but none of them are ever beneficial to keep around. Even if they don't count toward majority, one mafia + traitor is never going to lose to one town even though the mafia doesn't have majority yet. The traitor would abstain or vote the townie.
