Giga Bowser on Bowser's skin

I realized that Giga Bowser can't be footstooled, he can't trip and he even can't footstool people.

this may mean, he will never be balanced or playable :(

but, I happened to change Bowser's hitboxes into Giga Bowser's properties

from Video 1-4, the ledge attacks were missing and the dash attack
***I forgot to take away thick skin and the buffs given to Bowser on B+ XD***

from 5-9, I missed the Dash attack
*** Thick Skin was removed, but forgot the attack speed buffs...***

vid 10-12, I missed something else in here... the grab attack... next vids will use the right hitbox properties, the link of the Hitboxes are in this same post
used no AD during tumble, shield during dash dance and FF during tumble, Removed any buff that Bowser had, so to have Bowser Giga without any buff/nerf


might as well get more videos vs other Top Tier characters soon

why 99% and not 100%?

well, Giga Bowser doesn't have a Tripping animation, meaning he doesn't have Tripped Attack Stand, and Giga Bowser doesn't reiceve knockback and can't be knocked to the floor, meaning he doesn't have an on the floor Standing attack (this is in Brawl)

both of them will make him super weak on defense, maybe we should apply one of them, for testings

** I repeat, this is Bowser with all Giga Bowser's hitbox properties, and their original values were preserved**

and with this I want to tell a good nerf to make Bowser Giga to make him more standar rather than broken, but this will make Bowser not be 100% giga bowser, but yet a 50% Giga Bowser and the other 50% bowser

*** A friend told me that I can actually make Bowser Giga have Giga Bowser's Knockdown attack animation, by getting the element and data from melee's Giga Bowser :D, I will most appreciate if someone can get me this info, like, making Giga Bowser in melee be knockdown and get attacked at 100% and tell me how far you went without DI in Final Destination and how much damage you took, to adjust the KB data to fit melee's Giga Bowsers Knockdown Stand Attack idno***

Ohh right, I didn't figured stages had water :p ROFL

but I only tried to listed attack info, well, Bowser Giga couldn't get Giga Bowser's Tripped attack stand and knockdown attack stand, cause Giga Bowser doesn't have one in brawl

we may just add an effect to them or leave it as it is, probably leave it as it is, so we don't make a broken character more broken

Brawl giga Bowser Does have the animations

I figured it out by using the moveswap code into bowser, they both had the same animations when hit and stuff

maybe, in a future, we can Actually play Giga Bowser and not Bowser Giga, but the thing is, Bowser size is bad for him, make him a good combo target, what will happen with Giga Bowser... he will be Gimped from 0% to death

I actually think we should syci with bowser giga, cause he's short, maybe, we should need to give bowser giga different jump values and gravities, hmmm I'm thinking on giving smae gravity from giga bowser

Boowser Giga is currently using Bowser's B+ jump//gravity values, I will gather the data of he's gravity, to make him have the same gravities as Giga Bowser

It's impossible to moveswap Browser and Giga because they use the same file.

Brawl+ is a competitive code set structured around character balance.

GigaBowser is not balanced, he's not meant to be balanced. :)

So no, he won't be in it. Just have fun with him.

Well, in theory if the hackers wanted to put enough effort in, he could be modified to become balanced (think Akuma in Street Fighter, used to be OP, now more balanced)

and bowser could be like Akuma

and Giga Bowser could be like Shin Akuma, with bad defense and stuff

anyway, I'm playing as Bowser Giga cause I think he could be balance, if I use the third nerf I said in the second quote, Fusing both Bowser and Giga Bowser's power, and then make it halve, it won't be broken I just tested one broken Killer Giga Bowser had, that could kill at 110% and linked it with bowser's and made it halve, and It didn't killed even in 200% :p

well the vids are for people who love new characters to be added to the game

You could also make him slower than Bowser, maybe slightly bigger, and obviously no Thick Skin. If you are serious about making Giga a viable character, get creative with his balancing. Is there a way for you to actually look like Giga Bowser though?

Well by making him slightly bigger and slower, he'll just end up getting comboed from 0% to death, he needs at least some invincibility like say from 0-20% he'll be invincible until u can get it to go higher than that, unless i'm reading it wrong. About your question, yes there is. it's the texture hack for bowser. link's in the first page. that's my suggestion.

If possible, could you let me know which section of this code I should edit to change the down-tilt? If you have a section-by-section breakup you could post, that would be even more useful.

ok, the list of Bowser and Giga Bowser's hitbox, as to answer your question:

yes, the hitbox comes at the order given there

some attacks have more than one hitbox, so yes, if you want to edit an attack, try to edit the other hitboxes of the same attack so, you get better results

Thanks for the help!

I'm having quite good results so far. So far I've removed the 'grounding' property of the d-tilt, reduced the damage of the up-throw and down-throw, and the knockback of the d-air landing. I'm probably going to reduce the overall damage of the f-tilt and f-air. So, I'm making good progress.

wouldnt the no trip make bowser like the ultimate diddy counter? and i do think it would be a very good idea to add him, as long as he is balanced against the rest of the cast. him having super armour from like 0-30% would be a very nice thing, would set him apart from other characters, oh and i agree on changing his jump values etc, cause a bowser player shouldnt be able to just change to giga, should be a differnt play style etc :)
