Man, the ocean is messed up. I would die of fright if I was in the water and saw that.

Back when I was in 4th grade, I was on some island off of Corpus Christi. It was blue crab mating season, but with the crystal clear water, I was able to watch out for them (besides, they're scared enough to scurry away upon hearing my tremors). So, I'm prancing around in the water, having a jolly ol' time when ONE crab escapes my sight by burrowing under the sand, and lo and behold I step on the little bugger. Its shell-spike goes all the way to my bone, right at that arch on the bottom of your foot (unless you're flat-footed), hitting the biggest nerve in the whole shebang. That, the gushing blood (I'm a hemophobic), the rich salt water, and the fact that I was stranded on an island for another two hours until the ferry could come sent be into shock.

It sucked. So, I don't even know what the hell I would do if I crossed paths with that worm. I stay away from going in the ocean without wading boots now (I also came across a patch of stingrays, which thankfully didn't get me - but I did step on one).
sorry spire, but that is too funny to not laugh:laugh:

That is just brilliant. I'm gonna email that to everybody I know.

It'd be evil, but there are so many amazing pranks I could pull off with that thing. =D

That thing looks amazing yet gross at the same time.

I wouldn't want to be near it but it looks cool in a picture.

Absolutely adorable.

For a pigfaced worm.

I fooled you into highlighting this.

Effing creepy to not know wtf is in your aquarium. The ocean is terrifying. I can just image that is was a tiny little worm whe they first assembled that tank, and it just slowly grew bigger and bigger =x Creeeepyyyy

I've only told it a million times. 4th grade was a long time ago ;)

Honestly, I can't even remember which foot was punctured as there is no visible scar (strangely enough, because it was a good centimeter wide).

Have they figured out how old that thing is yet? What if that's an adolescent and there are ADULT versions of it!?!? I'm never going into the ocean.

I'm going into the Ocean just to look for more. I wonder how big they can get, unless that happens to be the biggest......
